Microsoft Win11 new modern task manager for more exposure features experience

IT House February 15 news that while so many native apps and services have been revamped in Windows 11 and even Windows 10, the modern look of Task Manager is long overdue. With Windows 11 Build 22543, Microsoft quietly made a major change to Task Manager — it's still the most useful tool on Windows 11.

Microsoft is redesigning Task Manager for Windows 11 experimentation and is being discovered in preview. This new look is only open to Microsoft internally, but by modifying system files you can try the half-baked new Task Manager.

As you can see in the screenshot, Task Manager's refresh design matches the interface of Windows 11 and other on-premises applications such as Microsoft Edge or Settings. After the update, Task Manager uses WinUI, Fluent Design, and Mica Mica materials, a new translucent design element.

In addition, Microsoft has tweaked the basic interface of Task Manager, moving options such as processes to a new menu. These options were previously available at the top of the Task Manager. In the new design, you'll find these options in the menu on the left, similar to Settings and other modern Windows 11 applications.

An interesting finding in the Windows 11 preview is the new feature of monitoring the health of your application with Task Manager. A feature that appears to be called "App Health" will help users know when their app needs to be fixed if it doesn't respond.

Similarly, there will be a new "Launch Applications" section to help users identify applications that slow down the device during startup.

For laptop users, the update to Task Manager will include another feature called Battery Health, which will help users know the current state of the battery while running resource-intensive applications.

Battery health issues in laptops have been a focus of attention over the past few years, especially after the release of Windows ARM and Apple M1, so this new feature may be useful for some users.

In terms of trends, Microsoft is adding more mobile features similar to smartphones for Windows 11.

It is worth mentioning that Microsoft has not yet announced a new task manager, and the leaked version has not fully worked.

Task Manager has quite a few bugs in the Windows 11 preview, so if you frequently use Task Management to turn off unresponsive programs, it might be a good idea to skip the Dev Channel version.
