IT House January 20 news, Microsoft has been working hard to update the system interface of Windows 11, including some of the app features that come with it. In the latest Build 22538, a user has discovered a task manager with a hidden new UI.
Microsoft hasn't changed the UI of Task Manager since Windows 8 in 2012. As you can see from the figure, the new version of Task Manager features the smooth design of Fluent Design for Windows 11, supports light/dark modes, and the previous top bar menu has been changed to a sidebar.
However, this task manager is still in its early stages, many functions can not be used, the UI is not fully adapted, and further optimization is needed, which is why Microsoft wants to hide it.
IT House understands that the new task manager needs to be upgraded to Build 22538 on the Dev channel, the latest version of Microsoft's push today, and then manually turned on using ViveTool.
