Microsoft is working on a new task manager based on the existing Win32 framework, but it supports WinUI 3.0 design components, including Mica mica effects for Windows 11, Acrylic acrylic for Fluent Design, and other design improvements. In addition, it supports dark mode.
Recently, Microsoft showed the new colorful design of Windows 11 Task Manager in the Windows Insider podcast, where users can adjust the Windows 11 accent color and let Task Manager customize the display accent color instead of the previously anxious yellow.
