Now, the newly redesigned web store is officially launched, removing the preview tab.
The web version of the Win11 Store, named "Microsoft Apps", has been redesigned in layout, with app categories placed on the left and a search bar added above to make it easier for users to find apps and more efficient than the client version.
The UI of the app list below also uses the same Win11 rounded corners, shadows, animations, etc., and there is no longer any need to see the ugly button border black line.
On the app's details page, the Windows Store web version has also been redesigned to make the layout more concise, and the right side can also show when the app was last updated.
Finally, the new web store finally simplifies the steps to install apps. Previously, when a user tapped Install App on the web, they jumped to the Windows Store client and clicked Install. In the new version of the store, after the user clicks install on the web page, a small window will pop up directly, and the application can be installed by clicking Get.
