May 19, 2024 marks the 14th World Family Doctor Day. The theme of this year's Family Doctor Day is "Scientific Weight Control, Healthy and Long-term Companionship". The Health Commission of Longting District organized more than 20 experts from 4 primary medical institutions and Kaifeng Infectious Disease Hospital, Kaifeng Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Kaifeng People's Hospital, and the First Affiliated Hospital of Heda to hold the "World Family Doctor Day" publicity and free clinic activity at 9:00 a.m. on May 16 at the gymnasium square of Longting North Road, inviting residents, cadres and employees in the jurisdiction to participate in on-site free free consultation, contract signing and other services. At the same time, each village clinic and service station simultaneously carried out the contract performance action of family doctors at their respective diagnosis and treatment points.
In 2010 in Cancún, Mexico, the World Organization of Family Doctors proclaimed 19 May as World Family Doctor Day. So far, this day has made the work of family doctors all over the world recognized, so that all workers who contribute to community health care in all countries around the world have received attention and support, and governments around the world have begun to realize the value of family doctor work.

The contracted family doctor service is based on the general practitioner as the core and the family doctor service team as the support, and provides safe, convenient, effective, continuous and economical basic medical services, basic public health services and agreed personalized services for the contracted families and individuals through the way of contracting.
3. Division of responsibilities of the contracted service team of family doctors
Team leader: responsible for the management and operation of the team, internal quality control of the team, performance allocation, etc., as well as communication and liaison with other organizations. Assist family doctors in providing residents with personalized health education, lifestyle intervention, regular follow-up and other classified and refined service management, as well as corresponding community nursing services.
General practitioners: Provide residents with continuous and comprehensive basic medical and health services and personalized health management services according to their health status.
Public Health Physicians: Provide individualized health management services for contracted residents, such as preventive health care, health education, health promotion activities, disease prevention and control, etc. Under the guidance of general practitioners, contract signing, contract performance, contract renewal, follow-up and other work are carried out.
Public Health Nurses: Assist family doctors in providing residents with personalized health education, lifestyle intervention, regular follow-up and other classified and refined service management, as well as corresponding community nursing services.
Medical alliance specialists: specialists of the medical team of municipal hospitals, providing technical support and business guidance for the team, carrying out personnel training and teaching, two-way referral and connection, etc.
