Known issues

[Generic]

[NEW] After upgrading to Build 22610, the Show Hidden Icons flyout in the system tray may disappear completely for some Insiders, even though it appears as On under The Settings > Personalization > Taskbar, and Other System Tray Icons. Microsoft is investigating the issue. As a workaround, if you need access to the icon that will appear in the Show Hidden Icons flyout, you can right-click the taskbar to open the taskbar settings page, navigate to "Other System Tray Icons" and personally toggle the specific application "Open" until the issue is resolved.

[Task Manager]

[NEW] Enabling efficiency mode from task manager's command bar may cause the process list to fluctuate between application groups and background groups on the Processes page. As a workaround, right-click and use the context menu to enable/disable efficiency mode, and then close and reopen Task Manager.

[Widget]

When you use gestures from the side of the screen, the widget panel may not open successfully. If it's affected, temporarily tap the widget icon in the taskbar.

[Real-time subtitles]

Some full-screen apps, such as video players, prevent live captions from appearing.

Some applications located near the top of the screen, which are closed before running live captions, will be restarted behind the live captions window located at the top. When the application has focus, use the System menu (ALT + Spacebar) to move the application's window further down.
