After listening to the opinions of users, Microsoft officially stated that it will soon launch Windows 11 taskbar improvements

Windows 11 is on the verge of improving the taskbar design, but that doesn't necessarily mean everything is perfect. Existing taskbars actually lack basic functionality, and living evidence of the need for extra polishing is the number of recommendations for that category in the Windows Feedback Hub. As you can see in the screenshot, there are hundreds of requests related to the taskbar, and users are calling on Microsoft to add more features to the taskbar.

After listening to the opinions of users, Microsoft officially stated that it will soon launch Windows 11 taskbar improvements

"I support all the proposals... Make the taskbar fun and fully functional again, just like Windows 98, you can put it anywhere, change the size, group icons and so on... The way it is now... It feels like a failed Apple app," someone said in a comment posted on the Feedback Hub.

The good news is that Microsoft is listening to user feedback that the upcoming Windows 11 update, which will come this month, will come with additional taskbar improvements.

The update won't include everything that users have been asking for, but at the very least, it's a step to make the taskbar easier to use overall.

Microsoft said in last month's announcement: "Next month we will bring new experiences to Windows, including a public preview of how you can use Android apps on Windows 11 through the Microsoft Store and our partnership with Amazon and Intel, improvements to the taskbar, mute and unmute calls, easier window sharing and bringing weather tools to the taskbar, and the introduction of two redesigned new apps, Notepad and Media Player." "

Not sure when the next Windows 11 should go live, so now that Microsoft has shown the world that it's listening, it also needs to find a way to deliver all these improvements in a timely manner.
