A volunteer veteran recalls: When we entered North Korea, we could no longer see any adult males. The KPA is a group of children who are not yet tall enough to be guns, not even many male children, who are dead.

North Korea at that time was really miserable. Since the U.S. landing at Inchon, only 30,000 of the 80,000 KPA main force have returned alive to the north of the 38th Parallel. Throughout the Korean War, the Americans fired bombs and germ bombs, resulting in the death of 215,000 people in the KPA and more than 100,000 missing or captured, and they have done their best.

But even in this predicament, the Korean people still helped the volunteers to the best of their ability. For example, in "Decisive Battle in Korea", the volunteer mother Ham Jae-fuk knocks on the ice to wash the clothes of the volunteer soldiers. In the first week of the Battle of Shangganling, she helped the wounded of the Volunteers wash more than seven hundred pieces of clothing, and then washed more than two thousand pieces of clothing.

When the US bombers came, Mother Xian helped the wounded disperse into the bomb shelter, but she rushed out to rescue the life-saving items necessary for the wounded of the volunteer army.

There was also a little North Korean girl, and four wounded volunteers were recuperating at his home. The Plane of the American Devil came to bomb, and she did not care that her crying brother rescued the wounded first. When she returned, her brother had been burned to death, but she comforted the wounded and said, "As long as you are alive, everything will be fine." She said it in tears.

Throughout the War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea, there were countless examples of the Korean people's help to the volunteer army. A large number of ordinary people spontaneously built bridges and roads for the troops, braving artillery fire to bring water and food to the troops. A large number of our basic materials were solved by North Korea. As for why I couldn't keep up later? Not only is the logistics supply line extended, but there is also an important reason - the local people are almost dead!

Although historical records have warned Kim Il Sung to beware of the landing of American troops from Inchon, Kim Il Sung ignored our reminder. Personally, I think that if Kim Il Sung really attaches importance to the Defense of Inchon, the final result will not change, because the gap between the two sides is too big.

For example, the day after the fall of Incheon, the North Korean people sent six columns of T34 tanks to plug the gap, only to encounter two Pirate fighters of the United Nations Army. Before long, half of the tank column was knocked out. The remaining M26 Pershing destroyed the remaining T34 tanks and cleared the way to capture Inchon. This huge equipment gap, how do you let them fight?

The Inchon landings were launched on the 15th, and by the 19th, U.S. engineering forces had built a 13km railway to the inland, and a large number of supplies were continuously transported to North Korea. By the 22nd, the number of vehicles transporting supplies reached 6,629. With 53,882 soldiers invading North Korea, accompanied by 23,000 tons of supplies, how should this battle be fought?

The only lucky thing was that MacArthur was determined to fight Seoul first for the sake of face. If he jumped over Seoul and blocked the road for the people's army to retreat north, the people's army in the south could not even return to 30,000 people, and it would definitely be completely destroyed in the south, and there would be no chance.

To have the U.S. military and the Korean People's Army fight is simply a dimensionality reduction strike. This battle really can't be fought. The exhausted KPA and the Korean people were unable to help the volunteers effectively because they really had nothing. Their help to the volunteers has completely hollowed out the family foundation, which is a testimony to the friendship between China and North Korea.

Now some people in the country are beginning to look down on the North Korean people in some well-known areas. But I don't know what kind of friendship the Chinese and DPRK peoples condensed seventy or eighty years ago. When we were in the War of Liberation, we had difficulties, and they never wanted to talk about how the Korean people helped us. But every day he scolded North Korea as a white-eyed wolf, which hurt the heart of a good friend. If North Korea had not developed well now, the war would not have been scolded!

Don't be biased anymore, look at the war correspondent Li Feng's "Decisive Battle of Korea", you will find what is called friendship condensed by blood. How brave and tenacious the Korean People's Army fought in this war, and why we must help North Korea, are all described in this book with the most perfect explanation.

In order to write this book well, the author interviewed more than thirty veterans of the War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea, and also went to the Korean battlefield site to investigate, and recorded the war in a panoramic manner. Air Force Colonel Dai Xu said in the preface: "The Decisive Battle of Korea" tells a panoramic account of this battle for the founding of New China with magnificent momentum, condensed language, and a panoramic view.
