In 1996, China purchased a Habi drone from Israel, agreeing to upgrade it in 10 years. However, 10 years later, Israel said that not only could it not upgrade, but also seized the batch of drones that had been transported.

With the end of many modern wars such as the Gulf War and the two Chechen wars, the role of drones in warfare has become more and more important. Since Europe and the United States have been imposing controls on our arms exports, it is unlikely that we will buy drones in Europe and the United States. Although Russia has drones, the military-industrial system inherited by the Soviet Union after the collective is in chaos, and the price is even more expensive.

So, we started looking for countries that were equally technologically advanced and willing to sell us at very good prices. As a result, Israel, a small hegemon in the Middle East that has no grudges with the mainland history and has established diplomatic relations, has become the object of our cooperation.

After interviews between the two sides, in 1996, the mainland successfully purchased a batch of Habi drones, filling the gap in the types of UAVs that attack radar, and the price was also very favorable.

The Hubby drone, developed by israel's aviation industry company in the 1990s, was designed primarily to attack enemy radar systems. The fuselage is 2.7 meters long, a launch unit vehicle, and can carry 18 drones.

The drone is easy to operate, flexible to launch and can be mounted on military trucks. After detecting the enemy's radar signal, the Hubby drone can carry out autonomous attacks with a very high hit rate.

Therefore, many countries want to have this drone, and in the international Habi drone, there are two well-known names "radar killer" and "aerial banshee". Just by listening to the name, you know how much people admire its power.

This cooperation has further deepened the trust between the two sides and laid the foundation for future cooperation in many weapons fields. Therefore, in the procurement contract at that time, the two sides also clearly agreed that due to the rapid replacement of UAV technology, 10 years later, that is, in 2006, the Chinese side shipped the batch of Habi UAV back to Israel, and Israel was responsible for upgrading and transforming its latest technology.

Originally, this was a matter of certainty and contract terms, but I did not expect that in 2006, the good Americans came out to stir things up again.

At that time, learning that the Chinese Habi drone had been shipped to Israel, the Americans sent a military delegation to Israel. In the face of the contract between China and Israel, the Americans waved their hands and said they did not approve, claiming that because the Habi drone used American technology, Israel sold it to China privately, which has made the Americans very angry.

And now, even more advanced technology will be used to modify the batch of Habi drones, which will greatly damage the interests of the United States and its allies, so the Americans have forced Israel to abandon the performance of the contract and stop upgrading the batch of Habi drones through a series of pressures and deterrences.

Because the reason why Israel can gain a foothold in the Middle East is because of the support of the United States, in the face of the demands made by the Americans, Israel, after weighing it up repeatedly, was forced to agree to the request of the Americans under pressure, preferring to pay liquidated damages and no longer upgrade the Habi drone.

I thought that the matter would end here, and Israel also paid liquidated damages to the Chinese side in accordance with the contract. Unexpectedly, the Americans actually had to go inch-by-inch, and after inspecting the Habi drones transported to the Israeli air base, they actually asked Israel to seize the batch of drones and detain them forever and not return them to China.

Upon hearing such news, our personnel were very shocked and took the initiative to conduct diplomatic interviews with Israel and strongly expressed our dissatisfaction. A batch of Habi drones that have paid all the payment for the goods 10 years ago and belong to the Chinese side, how can Israel have the right to seize them without cause.

At that time, Israel knew that it was wrong, took the initiative to apologize, and first dealt with the Americans to go back. After the Americans left, the Chinese side quickly asked the Chinese side to transport the batch of Habi drones back, and when the Americans knew, they had already formed a boat, so they had to get angry with Israel, and finally it was gone.

This incident has made us see clearly the face of the Americans, that is, they want to curb China's development. Fortunately, the mainland has chosen a path that suits its own self-developed weapons, and in terms of the weapons market, there are fewer and fewer places where the Americans can contain us.
