On March 8, the author learned from the latest "National Passenger Car Market Analysis in February 2022" released by the Association of Passenger Vehicles that Tesla China's sales in February were 56,515 units, of which the export volume reached 33,315 vehicles, accounting for 58.9%, compared with January this year. For comparison, Tesla China sold 59,845 units in January, of which 40,499 were exported, accounting for 67.7%. In terms of cumulative sales, Tesla China's sales in January-February 2022 have reached 116,360 vehicles.

From the overall situation, Tesla China is still undertaking a relatively heavy export task, and the production capacity of the Shanghai factory has been supplied to overseas markets in the first two months of this year; but according to past experience, the last month of each quarter will usher in the peak of delivery in the domestic market.

It is worth mentioning that the newly built Tesla Berlin factory has officially obtained the final approval of the government department a few days ago, and it is expected to hold an opening event on March 22, local time. With the Berlin factory officially put into operation, the overseas supply pressure of Tesla's Shanghai factory may be alleviated to a certain extent.

However, it is more surprising that Tesla China recently adjusted the expected delivery cycle time of the domestic Tesla Model 3 and Model Y again, of which the latest delivery date of tesla Model Y long-lasting version and Tesla Model 3 was changed to "16 to 20 weeks", while the expected delivery date before this was "12 to 16 weeks", which is not good news for hesitant consumers.
