The truck, called TITAN Z80-609 F 6x6, is a heavy-duty truck with super off-road performance, built by the German company TITAN. TITAN specializes in the modification and manufacture of these super truck products, and previously, TITAN was responsible for modifying TheTros bulky cars for Mercedes-Benz. Even now that the modification of Mercedes-Benz oversized cars has been handed over to Mercedes-Benz's own CTT department, many customers still choose TITAN products. Most of the Domestic Actos MP3 large-scale cars have been modified by this company.
This batch of orders was delivered around 2009, and the Z80-609F 6x6 was filmed in the late summer of 2010. From the time of delivery to the present, these old comrades have also been working in the desert for more than ten years, and they can be regarded as full veterans. The trucks were tasked with transporting heavy equipment such as logging trucks, fracturing trucks, and generators to oil fields in the desert, which made great contributions to the construction of oil fields in the western part of the motherland.
At first glance, the appearance of this Z80-609F 6x6 can still find a lot of familiar places. For example, the cab of the vehicle is actually derived from the Mercedes-Benz Actos MP3 truck at that time. At the same time, its lights are also from The Acids MP3 products. This is also understandable, as a partner of Mercedes-Benz, TITAN can easily use these components.

TITAN has replaced the vehicle with a new front cover for a simpler and more maintenance-friendly look. At the same time, the company created a stout steel bumper for the vehicle, which was attached with a large anti-collision bar and a front coupling. In the vast desert, undulating sand dunes are one of the biggest threats to vehicles, and the sturdy bumper can crash through the sand and avoid damage to the powertrain components. The headlights have a protective mesh in front for further enhanced protection.
The viewing angle turns to the side. In order to ensure the off-road capability of the vehicle, huge off-road tires are naturally standard. At the same time, this also makes the ground clearance of the vehicle higher. In order to facilitate boarding, the vehicle has newly designed a boarding pedal, but the height is still more than 1 meter, and it is still a little difficult to get on the car. Complete marker lights and reflective warning signs are also features of this car. After all, in the undulating sand dunes, the more conspicuous you are, the better.
The cab comes directly from the Mercedes-Benz Actros MP3. The classic silhouette, the sun visor, are its characteristics. To accommodate the wider body, the vehicle was designed with new rearview frames to enhance the field of view. At the same time, a working platform is designed on the outside of the cab, just like a train, thanks to its widened body.
Behind the cab is the vehicle's accessory compartment as well as the flat tops, which we'll cover in more detail below. The vehicle's wheelbase is very long, leaving plenty of room for the installation of equipment such as water tanks, toolboxes and fuel tanks. Even the large-capacity fuel tank with a size of more than 1,000 liters looks petite and cute under its oversized size.
The cab side is marked with a model number 8060. Of these, 80 represent the vehicle's GVW of 80 tons and 60 represent the vehicle's engine of 600 horsepower. In fact, this truck uses Mercedes-Benz's V8 diesel engine, with 609 horsepower, and the gearbox configuration is unknown. With a 609 hp engine plus a 6x6 all-wheel drive configuration and oversized off-road tires, it's absolutely powerful.
The front wheel also involves a multi-level climbing ladder, and the lower pedal is lower, which is actually more convenient than the climbing ladder in front. At the same time, the vehicle also designed armrests for the upper working platform to enhance safety. Two large viewing windows open at the rear of the cab also help to improve visual performance.
The intake air filter is placed next to the equipment cabin on the right side, and the arrangement position is higher, which can reduce the sand and dust sucked in and extend the service life of the air filter and the engine.
Large fuel tanks, large water tanks, accessory boxes, and accessory boxes are designed between the axles. For a truck that needs to work in the desert, the configuration of the water tank is crucial. After all, it is the source of life, which can give the vehicle a stronger self-protection time in an emergency.
Three spare tires are mounted above the vehicle's top for use in the event of a puncture.
The wheel hub features a special multi-layer design for quick replacement of large tires.
A closer look at the frame and tops reveals that they are bolted together. Multiple rubber washers are attached to the bolts to prevent frame twisting from damaging the tops.
The upperparts have vertical support bars on the sides, which can be used as a base point to hold heavy equipment and vehicles.
The design of the rear of the car is just that there is no design. A large piece of metal plate with an embedded taillight inside and a reflective logo installed.
Protective nets are designed on the taillights, but some of them are neglected. Compared to the starting lights, the taillights of the vehicle are less likely to be hit, and only need to defend against collisions and large objects.
The delivery of the cars ended around 2012. So, where exactly do they go to work? You can see the lower right corner of the picture above: this batch of vehicles is used to transport vehicles and large equipment such as fracturing trucks for the oil field in the vast desert of Taklamakan, and has made great contributions to the development and construction of the western oil field.
