At about 11:00 a.m. on the ninth day of the first spring of the Year of the Tiger, starting from Panzhihua, driving on the Beijing-Kunming Expressway, all the way through Miyi, Xichang, Mian County and other places, the sun was shining outside the car window, the scenery of the gorge of the Western Sichuan Plateau was beautiful, and the mountains on both sides of the river were sometimes dazzling with snow... But the car passed through the mud mountain tunnel, and the sudden change in the weather outside the window showed the magical landscape of the ice and snow world, "it is really ten miles different days" . This is the author's way through the Mud Mountain Tunnel, capturing two very different spectacular views. It is understood that Niba Mountain, located between Xingjing County and Hanyuan County in Ya'an City, Sichuan Province, has a height of 3300 meters, and the National Highway 108 line passes through it. Although the mountains are not high, the roads are difficult. At an altitude of 2,552 meters, Niba Mountain Pass is the only way to cross the famous climatic watershed of Daxiangling, and the Niba Mountain Pass is an excellent observation deck overlooking the Gongga Peaks from the northeast. The Iasi Expressway Nibashan Tunnel, which opened to traffic in 2012, is 10,007 meters long and takes about 10 minutes by car, so due to climatic reasons, it is a strange landscape of snow after entering and exiting the tunnel and the bright sunshine before entering the tunnel.
