The so-called metaverse we are talking about today is only the third layer of virtualization of capitalism after financial capitalism: the real scene of symbolic exchange and consumption society is completely virtualized, and this complete virtual appearance is a variety of app applications under the banner of metaverse, and its essence is scene virtual, not metacosm itself.

What is the so-called metacosm we are talking about today? It is the entire human world after financial capitalism that mirrors the self-discipline and metaphysical part of the whole capitalism upside down.

How to understand this mirror upside down?

The capitalist law of exchange is commodity-based.
