Guan Sheng (1262-1319), known as Zhongji, was a native of Wu Xing, a famous female calligrapher and painter in the Yuan Dynasty. Zhao Mengfu's wife, Yuan Yanyou four years (1317) named Mrs. Wei, known as Mrs. Guan.
Pipe Sheng has been smart and sensitive since childhood, and is good at poetry, writing, calligraphy, painting and embroidery. "Hanmo words, can not learn" (Zhao Mengfu), especially good at Hanmo words, the line written is similar to Zhao Mengfu's style of calligraphy, it is difficult to distinguish the similarities and differences. The handwritten "Xuanji Picture Poem" is five colors, and the penmanship is exquisite. Good at painting ink bamboo plum orchid, clear bamboo new fence, and work landscapes, Buddha statues. I once visited the Buddhist temple in Huzhou, and painted a bamboo and stone map on the wall that is more than one zhang high and five or six feet wide. The boulder is painted with flying white technique, and the clear bamboo pavilion stands and is lifelike, attracting visitors from all over the world to flock to it for a time.
The "Thousand Character Text" written by Guan Sheng, Yuan Renzong ordered the jade to be loaded with a jade shaft and collected in the secretary and supervisor. Believe in Buddhism, once wrote dozens of volumes of "Diamond Sutra", and gave alms to famous mountains and temples. Yuan Yanyou died of illness on May 10 in the sixth year of Yuan Yanyou and was buried in Donghengli Xitai Mountain (now Dongheng Village, Luoshe Township).

The controversy in later generations lies in the signature at the end, the traditional Chinese character "sheng", which has been slightly altered. Those who are good at association think that Mrs. was busy at that time, and Zhao Mengfu was free, so he wrote a letter to his aunt on behalf of Mrs. In front of me, I still remember that it was a ghostwriter for my wife, but I forgot to write it later, and I was stunned, and I wrote the payment as Ziang, so I changed it to Daosheng.

In fact, this is not the case, except for talking about the content of poems and paintings, all of the letters written by Zhao Mengfu are named "Mengfu", and none of them are signed "Ziang", and the same is true in the letters to relatives. Therefore, even if Zhao Mengfu really ghostwrites for his wife, the signature at the end will not be Ziang, but "Mengfu". The word "Dao Sheng" in this post, the word "Dao" has basically not changed, and the word "Sheng" (traditional Chinese) has been slightly smeared. Guess it with "ang", and you can't touch it.

Dao Sheng knelt in front of his aunt's and wife's makeup, Dao Sheng didn't give words for a long time, he couldn't think about it, the autumn was getting colder, and Ji Weishu asked for peace. Mrs. Jinzuntang and Master Ling Ji have met here again and again, and I think my aunt also knows, there are four cups of honey fruits, four packs of icing cakes, Lang Jun's twenty tails, and a hundred candles. Before the meeting, I hope to cherish the time, the official does not write a book, with this greetings, the three managers want to win the same day, Lang Niang Xijia. Unannounced, on the twentieth day of September, Dao Sheng knelt down.
Moreover, the ancients could greet on their behalf, but they could not write on their behalf. Greetings are a common thing. For example, when Zhao Mengfu writes to relatives and friends, he usually adds a sentence at the end of the letter: "The old wife attaches a letter of inquiry, not announced" ("Temporary Return Post"), "The old woman attaches this thanks" ("The Young Daughter's Death Post") and so on. Ghostwriting, on the other hand, generally happens to people who can't write, and if someone who can write writes instead of another person who can write, it is an offense. Coupled with the ancient way of husband and wife, the husband is the head of the family, although intimate, it must not be too unetiquette, and Zhao Mengfu is the minister of the court, Guan Sheng knows the etiquette well, and will not rashly let her husband write a letter for herself.
If it is really Zhao Mengfu's ghostwriting, he will write directly to his aunt in his tone, if Guan Sheng also has a letter to write, add a sentence "Daosheng does not write a book, attach this greeting" can solve the problem. And judging from the content of this letter, there is no special meaning to express, and there is no need to borrow Zhao Mengfu's hand to say that the meaning of Taoism is promoted. Therefore, "Autumn Depth" should belong to Guan Sheng's own writing, and there is no ghostwriting.

So Guan Sheng's husband wrote a poem to Guan Sheng, and in the face of her husband's request, Guan Sheng was very calm, and did not scold or obey. After seeing the words written by my husband, I replied with an elegant, affectionate and affectionate emotion and a positive attitude.
You and I are nong, and there are many loves,
There are many feelings, and the heat is like fire.
Put a piece of mud,
Twist a you, shape a me.
Break the two of us together and mix them with water.
Twist another you, and shape another me.
I have you in the mud, and you have me in the mud.
I was born with you and died with the same coffin.
This poem skillfully uses novel metaphors to illustrate that the relationship between the two husband and wife is inseparable, and also expresses Guan Sheng's loyalty to love. After Guan Shengfujun saw this poem, he dispelled the idea of taking a concubine. Since then, the husband and wife have been in deep love, and they have been with each other for a lifetime, never abandoning each other until their old age.

In 1311, after Yuan Renzong ascended the throne, Zhao Mengfu heard the edict and went to Beijing. This trip to Beijing became the most glorious time in Zhao Mengfu's life. In the fourth year of Yanyou (1317), Zhao Mengfu was awarded the title of Yipinguan, and Guan Sheng was also awarded the title of "Lady of Wei".
In the second year, Guan Sheng suffered from illness, and seeing that the famous doctor's prescription was ineffective, Zhao Mengfu asked the emperor to take his wife back to the south to recuperate, and the emperor allowed it. In 1319, they were able to buy Zhounan and return it, but on the way back, Guansheng died of illness, which dealt a huge blow to Zhao Mengfu. In June 1322, Zhao Mengfu died in Wuxing. After Zhao Mengfu's death, Renzong named him the Duke of Wei and nicknamed him "Wen Min" to show his achievements in literature.
