Zhang Minghu, born in Meixian County, Shaanxi Province in 1946, founded Meixian Lanting Calligraphy School in 2005, training more than 3,000 adults and primary and secondary school students for the society. In 2017, he was rated as "Excellent Star School in Shaanxi Province" and "Excellent Education Unit in Baoji City" by CCTV. His calligraphy works were selected into the "95th Anniversary of the Founding of the Communist Party of China and the Limited Edition Stamp Album for the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China", and won the title of Famous Calligrapher of the Times. In 2018, his calligraphy works were selected into the stamp album of "National Rites, World Treasured Stamps" by famous Chinese artists, and in 2017, he inscribed "Great Qin Hongtu, Chinese Dragon" for the Great Wall of Badaling and won the gold medal. In 2019, he was included in the Oriental Master Database, and in June 2020, his calligraphy works were selected for the Chinese Famous Artists Exhibition, and he was awarded the title of "People's Meritorious Artist" for the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China.
