Alfa Romeo Tonale has a variety of powertrains overseas, including traditional internal combustion engine and PHEV plug-in hybrid, of which the traditional internal combustion engine version is equipped with a 2.0T four-cylinder turbocharged engine with a maximum power of 191 kW and a peak torque of 400 Nm, matching a 9AT gearbox, and equipped with a four-wheel drive system.
The PHEV plug-in hybrid system consists of a 1.3T four-cylinder turbocharged engine combined with a 90 kW drive motor at the rear axle for a total output of up to 203 kW and is mated to a 6-speed AT transmission. In addition, the system is also equipped with a set of 15.5 kWh ternary lithium battery pack, pure electric endurance can only travel 48 kilometers, L2 charger needs 2.5 hours to fully charge.
In Europe, tonale also features two 1.5T diesel engines with an optional 48V light mix system, matched with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission.
Tonale has the Alpha Romeo family's signature shield front grille, with full LED headlight sets on both sides, flowing water for the turn signals, a three-stage layout for the interior of the headlights, a through-the-end taillights at the rear, and the left and right light set styles the same as the headlights. The wheels feature the telephone dial pad style of The Classic Model of Alfa Romeo.
The Tonale is 4530mm long, 1840mm wide and 1600mm high.
Tonale comes standard with a 12.3-inch full LCD digital meter, a central control screen size of 10.25 inches, and an embedded Uconnect 5-car machine system, which supports OTA online upgrades. Tonale also supports Apple Wireless CarPlay and Android Wireless Mobile Phone Interconnection Technology, in addition, the car also supports Alexa Home Vehicle Intelligent Interconnection Communication Technology.
Tonale's standard safety system is really rich, the starter version includes adaptive cruise system, AEB active emergency braking system with pedestrian detection, lane keeping assist, blind spot monitoring, reversing side warning system and so on. In addition, the high-end model is equipped with an L2 level automatic driving assistance system and an enhanced traffic congestion assistance system.
