In 1987, Li Hongta was transferred from a cadre of the Communist Youth League to work in the Civil Affairs Bureau in Anhui Province, where he worked diligently, knowing that although the work of the Civil Affairs Bureau was not as complicated as other work, it was closely related to the people, and he knew that he could not take it lightly and treat everything more cautiously. He was able to work well and serve the people, and finally rose to the rank of director at the age of 49. The promotion of official positions and the improvement of power position did not shake Li Hongta's original intention of honesty and integrity, and during his leadership, he lived in a house of less than 60 square meters, although he had many opportunities to allocate houses and never assigned himself a new house.
And Li Hongta during his tenure also had a beautiful talk praised by everyone, that is, riding a bicycle to work every day, he knew that as a cadre, the most important job was to do a good job in the work assigned by the party and satisfy the people, so he refused to use the state's money to seek welfare for himself, rejected the special car arranged by the organization, and insisted on riding a bicycle to work until he was 54 years old before changing into an electric car.
In 2021, Li Hongta became the recipient of the July 1st Medal, and receiving such a high honor is also inseparable from Li Hongta's revolutionary family background. Li Baohua is Li Hongta's father, and Li Dazhao is Li Hongta's grandfather. Li Dazhao, I believe we are very familiar with this revolutionary ancestor, Li Dazhao is one of the main founders of the Communist Party of China, most of his income is used to support poor students and invest in the construction of party organizations, living in poverty on weekdays, is the earliest propagator of Marxism in China.
Unfortunately, Li Dazhao was captured by the reactionary warlords, heroically and righteously, and his life was fixed at the age of 38. Li Dazhao's revolutionary spirit deeply influenced his son Li Baohua, who took over his father's unfinished revolutionary cause, rushed to the front line of the revolution, served as president of the Chinese Bank, secretary of the Anhui Provincial PARTY Committee, and other important positions, and was affectionately called "Li Qingtian" by the people, helping many wronged people to clear their charges. He not only carried forward his father's courageous dedication, seeking truth from facts, self-denial, simplicity and honesty, but also passed on the red tradition and excellent family style from generation to generation.
As Li Hongta after the revolution did not enjoy the preferential treatment brought by his fathers, the Li family has always respected the clean and honest family style, in Li Hongta's political work, Li Baohua did not use his rights to seek convenience for his son, and Li Hongta also inherited his father's fine traditions and never used his power to help his children fight for welfare. In fact, Li Hongta's childhood was not as easy and prosperous as we think, and the revolutionary aura of his grandfather and the strict education of his parents made Li Hongta bear a lot of pressure. Li Hongta was born in Beijing, at that time coincided with the founding of New China, his father held an important position in the Beijing Municipal Party Committee, his mother was busy in the factory, Li Hongta was sent to the nursery to take care of, which made Li Hongta's childhood lack the company of many parents, and his grandfather and father have always adhered to honesty and self-discipline, as a high-profile revolutionary descendant, he also lived a poor life like ordinary people.
After Li Hongta grew up, because of his grandfather's revolutionary experience and the words and deeds of his parents, he personally experienced the responsibility and mission to be an excellent party member. After this, he responded to the call of the state to join the army and was repeatedly named a training pacesetter. At first, he was assigned to reclaim the wasteland, and for Li Hongta, who was only a teenager at the time, the task was very heavy, because he did not have a strong physique. But remembering his father's teachings, he did not give up, he understood that eating bitterly and being a superior person was the first step to the party, so he gritted his teeth and insisted, never shouted bitterness and tiredness, he was willing to resist multiple burdens, how heavy military training he was willing to do, and his efforts were also recognized by many people.
After retiring from the army, Li Hongta joined the chemical factory, and the toxic and harmful environment of the chemical plant made many people smell different, but Li Hongta rose to the challenge, worked hard and down-to-earth, and soon became a technical backbone. At the same time, he also attaches great importance to the cultivation of knowledge, relying on his own efforts to obtain a university degree certificate.
