2022 marks the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Youth League of China. Looking back at the past hundred years, the mark of youth has been closely linked to the plan of salvation, the liberation of the people, the prosperity and strength of the country, and the rejuvenation of the nation since the beginning of the "era of awakening". Spanning a hundred years, the vigorous strength of youth to the party and the strong country has always walked with the times. In 1915, the "New Youth" published a statement: "Youth is like the early spring, like the sun, like the budding of the hundred flowers, like the new hair of the sharp blade in the arsenic." "In the journey of the new era, Chinese youth have always inherited the red gene, struggled for the development and progress of the country, and contributed wisdom to world peace and development."
Greeting the 20th National Congress and presenting the centenary of the founding of the regiment, we launched the activity of "Strivers are Young People in Youth, Youth in the History of the 100-year League", reciting the history of the 100-year Regiment, inheriting the red gene, bravely undertaking the mission of youth, and pursuing the light of faith.

After the Opium War, China was in a deep national crisis. In 1916, after Li Dazhao returned from studying abroad, he felt that it was indispensable to rebuild China, and after returning to China, he founded the first newspaper "Morning Bell Newspaper". Morning symbolizes hope and is a wake-up call, and he publishes a warning in the masthead every day, hoping to evoke the self-consciousness of the nation with the deafening roar of the alarm bell.
In the inaugural issue, Li Dazhao published "The Mission of the Morning Bell - The Creation of Youth China". He said: In order to change the history of the Chinese nation being humiliated and despised in the world, only by calling on Chinese youth to bravely shoulder the great responsibility of creating a youthful China and breaking the shackles of old traditions and concepts can we build a youthful China.
It is in this way that Li Dazhao takes the destruction of the old and the establishment of the new as his aim, makes a statement for the "Morning Bell Newspaper," and contributes his knowledge to the country; he must take on the self-consciousness of advanced intellectuals with the courage to forge ahead, to cut off his head and shed blood, and to take on the self-consciousness of advanced intellectuals and lead the young people to embark on the road of creating a youthful China.
The ideal of "youth China" laid the foundation for Li Dazhao's lofty pursuit and unremitting spirit of struggle for the rejuvenation of the Chinese nation throughout his life, and made him grow into one of the most important founders and revolutionaries of the Communist Party of China. On April 6, 1927, Li Dazhao was arrested and imprisoned. According to newspaper reports at the time, he was "very refreshed and extremely calm" when he was tried, and was not yet 38 years old when he calmly became righteous.
