"Li Dazhao" clearly reproduces Comrade Li Dazhao's magnificent revolutionary career of "shouldering morality with iron shoulders and writing articles with clever hands" with the art form and poetic expression of Peking Opera, praises the group portraits of chinese communists represented by Comrade Li Dazhao who struggle for ideals and sacrifice for their faith, and carries forward the spiritual genealogy of Chinese communists represented by the great spirit of party building.

Beijing Peking Opera House Newly Edited Historical Peking Opera "Lady City"

Do you know where "Lady City" is? Where did the name come from? The newly compiled historical Peking Opera "Lady City" tells the origin of the name. During the Eastern Jin Dynasty, the Former Qin general Gong Pi led an army to attack Xiangyang, the right army protected Li Bo to rebel and surrendered to the enemy, the defending general Zhu Xu was lightly attacked and carelessly captured, and his mother Han Shi was ordered to take charge of the three armies. In the face of the Qin army's tiger and wolf division, Mrs. Han strategized to unite the people of Xiangyang City and join forces with the reinforcements to crush the Qin army in one fell swoop. The people remembered Mrs. Han for building a city to resist the enemy, and called this city wall "Lady City". The ancestors of Lady City have been passed down for more than 1600 years, and the statue of Mrs. Han, the protagonist of the story, has been standing in Xiangyang City, and has been deeply remembered and admired by generations of people. Northern Kunqu Opera Theater Kunqu Opera "Peony Pavilion"

The Ming Dynasty dramatist Tang Xianzu's book "Peony Pavilion", which has been published for more than 400 years, is the most outstanding classical drama in the history of Chinese theater. It tells the love story of Du Liniang, the daughter of Nan'an Taishou Du Bao, and Liu Mengmei, a Lingnan scholar. The Kunqu opera "Peony Pavilion" combines romantic love stories with gentle and melodious singing voices, and has become the most enduring classic play in Kuntan. This round of performances will be starred by Pan Xiaojia and Weng Jiahui of the Northern Kunqu Opera Theatre.

National Centre for the Performing Arts Original National Opera "Ballad of the Canal"

As the first original national opera launched by the National Centre for the Performing Arts, "Ballad of the Canal" gathers the most powerful front-line creative team in China, directed by the famous director Liao Xianghong, co-written by Huang Weiruo and Dong Ni, composed by the famous composer Yin Qing, and starring excellent singers such as Lei Jia, Wang Hongwei, Wang Li, and Sun Yan. National Centre for the Performing Arts Drama "The Count of Monte Cristo"

In 1846, the French novelist and playwright Alexandre Dumas completed the serial creation of his novel The Count of Monte Cristo. The twists and turns of the plot, the happy and vengeful characters, the clear and clear structure, and the strange scenes made this work famous as soon as it came out, becoming a classic masterpiece in Dumas's novels. Now this classic that has crossed the era has once again appeared on the stage, performed at the National Centre for the Performing Arts. As early as 2014, the National Centre for the Performing Arts incorporated "The Count of Monte Cristo" into the stage production plan. National Peking Opera "The Haunting of the Heavenly Palace"

It is based on the fifth and sixth episodes of Journey to the West, and the story is well known in China. In addition to being staged in China, the National Peking Theatre has entered dozens of countries around the world with "The Haunting of the Heavenly Palace" and is deeply loved by people around the world. The image of the "Monkey King" has also become a business card of traditional Chinese culture. In 2019, the National Centre for the Performing Arts rehearsed this classic drama, and in this performance, Zhu Lingyu, a post-90s martial arts actor, starred as monkey king Sun Wukong.

Original dance drama "Cao Xueqin"

The dance drama "Cao Xueqin" created by the Propaganda Department of the Haidian District Party Committee and the Zhongguancun International Dance Center presented Cao Xueqin's unusual life to the audience through four chapters: knowing Jinghua, worrying about air labor, dreaming like a grand view, and only standing for eternity. Cao Xueqin lived and created "Dream of the Red Chamber" in the "Three Mountains and Five Gardens" area of Haidian, and for hundreds of years, there have been many legends about Cao Xueqin and "Dream of the Red Chamber" in the Haidian Xiangshan and Baijialan areas. The dance drama "Cao Xueqin" presents not only the great beauty of "Dream of the Red Chamber", but also the great love of Cao Xueqin.
