All the scenery in the eye is the landscape that the heart feels painted

Different from the oil painting landscape paintings familiar to the public that mainly express objective nature, the "Southern China Oil Painting Landscape Research Exhibition" specially proposes the new concept of "oil painting landscape" from the title of the exhibition, focusing on the excellent works created by Chinese oil painters from modern to contemporary Chinese oil painters under the influence of Western art, and then highlighting the historical transition of Chinese artists from Western cultural carrier to Chinese cultural carrier.

Famous artists gather from all over the world

Slightly different from the previous four touring exhibitions, this closing exhibition specially planned to borrow more than ten blockbuster works, gathering treasures from the National Art Museum of China, Beijing Lu Xun Museum and CAFA Art Museum, Shanghai Liu Haisu Art Museum and famous masterpieces from artists' families and private collectors, such as Yan Wenliang's "Chongpo Fengqiao" and Wu Guanzhong's "Lu Xun's Hometown" from the National Art Museum of China, and Wu Guanzhong's "Shaoxing Scenery" from Beijing Lu Xun Museum. These works are combined with the works of the touring exhibition, which not only cover the landscape oil painting masterpieces of the first generation of oil painters who went abroad to study oil painting in the 1920s and 1930s: Yan Wenliang, Liu Haisu, Yang Sun and others; but also include the works of the second and third generations of art masters: Wu Zuoren, Wu Guanzhong, Dong Xiwen, Ai Zhongxin, Su Tianci, Zhan Jianjun, Jin Shangyi, Wen Lipeng, etc. who have made unremitting explorations in the field of oil painting landscapes; there are also the mainstays and rising stars in the oil painting industry today: Yan Ping, Wang Keju, Zhang Liping Hong Ling and other artists have worked hard around the topic of "oil painting landscape" to make the latest masterpieces. Gathering famous artists and shining stars, more than 170 works in the same exhibition of the two exhibition halls present the historical context of the development of Chinese oil painting landscape to the audience through the combing of the exhibition.
