Ding Ling, female, formerly known as Jiang Wei, a native of Linli, Hunan, is a member of the Communist Party of China. After 1949, he successively served as the editor-in-chief of "Literature and Art Daily", the director of the Central Literary Research Institute, the director of the Literature and Art Department of the Central Propaganda Department, the vice chairman of the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles, the secretary and vice chairman of the party group of the China Writers Association, and the editor-in-chief of "Literature and Art Daily", "China" and "People's Literature".
