Sponsored by the Publicity Department of Tianjin Municipal Party Committee and Tianjin Publishing and Media Group, the first "Rongcheng Hundred Flowers Literary and Art Week" and the 19th Hundred Flowers Literature Award Ceremony series of activities were held from December 12 to 19, 2021. The Reader Sharing Session of the Complete Compilation of Books and Writings was held on December 13 as part of a series of activities.
The Complete Compilation of Books and Clothing Records was launched by Hundred Flowers Literary and Art Publishing House in June 2021. Sun Li is a master of contemporary literature in China, and his literary creation has achieved remarkable achievements. As an "original" form of writing of Sun Li, "Book and Clothing Records" occupies a pivotal position in Sun Li's works, and has always been valued and loved by the research community, the publishing community and the majority of readers, and is one of the parts of Sun Li's works that can best show his academic accomplishment, ideological trajectory and living conditions.
With the support of Sun Li's family, the Hundred Flowers Literary and Art Publishing House systematically and comprehensively excavated and sorted out all the manuscripts of the "Book and Clothing Records". These manuscripts are not only huge in size, coherent in time span, quite historical and literary research value, and most of them are disclosed to the world for the first time.

Zhang Xuezheng, professor at the College of Literature of Nankai University and an expert in the study of modern and contemporary Chinese literature, from the perspective of close reading of the text, through the "Complete Compilation of Books and Clothing Records", deeply analyzed Sun Li's views on the current situation, Sun Li's love and hatred and moral ethics, and the drastic changes in Sun Li's mentality from the mid-to-late 1980s to the 90s.
Wang Huiren, editor-in-chief of the Hundred Flowers Literary and Art Publishing House, believes that Sun Li in the book and clothing records and Sun Li in the manuscript provide a more "true" Sun Li than the description of ordinary literary history. This truth points in several directions: how he achieved "superiority" compared with his contemporaries; what resources of his literature and thought were; and how he gave Sun Li breath to the "narrative of man".

Sun Yu, the grandson of Mr. Sun Li, shared that in many articles, the impression of Sun Li is taciturn, not good at expression, loves to frown, and seriousness and severity occupy an overwhelming victory. Only when you really walk into your grandfather's life, into your grandfather's words, you will sincerely feel his deep love for your grandchildren as an elder.
It is reported that the "Complete Compilation of Books and Clothing Records" edited and published this time is presented in the form of manuscript photocopies and accompanied by interpretations, and an appendix is also added. The appendix includes the "Records of The Book" that do not have a manuscript, as well as the Jia Shu Li Ji, the Continuation of the Li Shu, the Three Records of the Li Shu, the Four Records of the Li Shu, and the Inscription of the Cultivating Hall. Hundred Flowers Literary and Art Publishing House has the unique advantage of publishing the Complete Compilation of Books and Clothing Records.
The Hundred Flowers Literary and Art Publishing House is the main publishing base for Sun Li's works, and Sun Li has entrusted most of his works in his life to the Hundred Flowers Society for publication, of which the works published before Sun Li's death have been personally approved by himself.
It is also understood that this Hundred Flowers Literary and Art Week also includes a variety of literary and artistic activities such as award ceremonies, summit forums, new book launches, literary and artistic works exhibitions, etc., with the theme of "Let Literature and Art Light Up Life", based in Tianjin, looking at the whole country, fully demonstrating the power and charm of Chinese literature and art, and building an aggregation platform for the creation, production, dissemination and promotion of literary and artistic works and cross-border integration.
