At that time, there was a girl who was admitted to Tsinghua University who insisted on marrying a black person despite her parents' persuasion, she was Wang Lihong, who was 52 years old this year, and since Wang Lihong married her black husband, she followed her husband Suma to Africa and has lived in Africa for nearly 24 years.
First, ordinary people with Tsinghua dreams
Born in Beijing, Wang Lihong, like us ordinary people, has no prominent origins. Her parents were ordinary factory workers, she was the second child in the family, and life in her family was still barely strong at that time. Because she is the youngest child in the family, Wang Lihong has been the most loved by her parents since she was a child, and her parents and brother have loved her very much.
When Wang Lihong was a child, her parents were very busy at work, so she always played behind her brother's ass, just did not want to play with girls, and liked to play with boys. Born with a hard temper, she thinks that little girls are squeamish and cry, so she does not like to play with girls.
Since Wang Lihong went to primary school, her grades have been very good, and she has not let her parents worry about it, so she has become a "child of others" in the mouths of other parents. When she was in high school, Wang Lihong was admitted to the Beijing No. 4 Middle School, a key city, with very good results.
After entering high school, she planned a very clear academic plan and goals, and Wang Lihong dreamed of entering Tsinghua University, the highest university in China. After 3 years of hard study, the 21-year-old finally entered Tsinghua University for further study as she wished.
Second, her love affair with black people has always made her noticed
Wang Lihong is very passionate about the study and life of the university, 4 years of undergraduate, she will spend most of her time and energy into learning, she is not in the laboratory or in the library every day, life is very full, but also because only learning and appear monotonous.
By the time she was 24, she had completed all of her undergraduate courses and went on to pursue her graduate degree. During college, she also had several very good friends, and one of these friends was a very special person, that is, this Suma from Uganda, Africa.
Although Suma is from Africa, he is fluent in both Chinese and English. Moreover, he has a very cheerful and lively personality, and he is also humorous and talkative, although his skin color is different, he is always able to get along with the people around him.
Suma is as hard and serious as Wang Lihong in learning, in some difficult subject experiments, he gave Wang Lihong a lot of help, the time between the two gradually increased, Wang Lihong was gradually attracted to this humorous African guy, she actually hid from her parents, secretly talked about love with Su. Due to the large cultural differences between the two, the most favorite thing for the two people to do in love is to listen to Suma talk about his African hometown.
In that conservative era at that time, choosing to fall in love with a black person would undoubtedly become the focus of others' eyes, and Wang Lihong was no exception, and her relationship with Suma would always be discussed by others. However, she herself did not care about the outside world and enjoyed the time with Suma happily.
When Wang Lihong told her parents about the fact that she was in love, it turned out that her parents were very happy. However, when they learned that their future son-in-law was a black African and that her daughter was likely to marry far away from Africa, Wang Lihong's father was very angry and angrily rebuked Wang Lihong.
After this, Wang Lihong's parents began to think of various ways to block their daughter's love affair, in order not to let their daughter see Suma, Wang Lihong's father sent his daughter to Japan, and what people did not expect was that Suma actually chased after Japan.
There was no way, Wang Lihong's parents could only admit their feelings, and after 4 years, the two finally got a license to get married. After graduating from graduate school in Suma, he decided to return to his hometown of Uganda to work. Wang Lihong took her eldest daughter to Africa with him.
Third, strive to adapt to cultural differences
When Wang Lihong came to Africa, she had an indescribable feeling in her heart, and she had a strange feeling about this continent. In this very old country, men are still admired for their inferiority, and the social status of men is very high, and the status of women is very low. In public, only men can sit in chairs, while women can only sit on their knees on the ground.
The locals believe in Islam, so women wear Muslim headscarves around their heads. Wang Lihong went into the countryside, believed in Islam, became a Muslim, and wrapped her head in a turban, everything made Wang Lihong feel uncomfortable, but there was no way, Wang Lihong could only try to adapt to this life.
Fourth, open schools and live hard
Wang Lihong has been living on the african continent for more than 20 years, and she is now very comfortable with life here compared to the scene when she first arrived in Africa. Although Wang Lihong has lived in Uganda for many years, she still misses her hometown all the time, so she wants to use her knowledge to change the people here, and she hopes to promote Chinese culture in Africa.
With the gradual increase in the influence of Chinese culture, Confucius Institutes have been established in various regions of Africa to promote traditional Chinese culture. So Wang Lihong and Suma opened a Mandarin school in Uganda to teach Mandarin there.
Many Ugandan people have gone to school to learn Chinese, and these people have fallen in love with Chinese after being exposed to Chinese, and a Ugandan teacher said that learning Chinese will allow him to learn more and find more employment opportunities. Wang Lihong has gradually become known to the people here by teaching Chinese, and the people there are very grateful for her contributions to the people here.
