The most important thing is that the price of the ideal ONE is as high as more than 300,000, which is directly on par with the first-line luxury models of the German system.
It is precisely because of the best-selling of Ideal ONE that Ideal Auto has become a "leader" from a "latecomer" to a "leader" in the new force of car manufacturing. It is no exaggeration to say that without the success of the ideal ONE, there would be no ideal car with unlimited scenery today.
As early as the second half of last year, at the beginning of the launch of the ideal L8, the ideal car officially announced the discontinuation of the ideal ONE. But until April this year, in the official data, ideal ONE still had sales.
In January ~ April this year, the cumulative sales of ideal ONE were 5467 units. Although such sales data is insignificant compared to the ideal L series model, it is actually not bad compared with other new models in the same class.
Since the ideal ONE was discontinued last year, why can it still be sold until April this year? It is reported that although the ideal car has discontinued the ideal ONE last year, at that time, when some of the ideal ONE's commercial cars were not digested.
In other words, for most of the year from October last year to the present, all the ideal ONE sold are the previous backlog of inventory cars. In order to clear the warehouse as soon as possible, Li Auto also gave a considerable discount, and it is said that 270,000 yuan can buy the ideal ONE with a price of nearly 350,000 yuan.
It is not understandable why the ideal ONE, which has been discontinued for most of the year, still has good sales.
Recently, Li Auto officially closed the order entrance of Li ONE, indicating that this ideal ONE that has made great contributions to Li Auto will become history. Since its launch in April 2019, the ideal ONE has spent four years and achieved sales of 200,000 units.
However, just some time ago, the OTA upgrade officially pushed by Ideal Auto made many Ideal ONE owners have mixed tastes.
In the OTA 4.5.0 version update officially pushed by Li Auto, up to 39 functions and 19 optimized experiences have been added. However, the ideal ONE was excluded, and the upgrade was only for the ideal L series models.
Regarding this matter, Li Xiang, CEO of Ideal Auto, explained that the lack of ideal ONE OTA functions was caused by hardware problems. For the owner's proposed paid upgrade of the Qualcomm 8155 car chip, Li Xiang's reply is that it cannot be upgraded.
As a result, some car owners sighed: Our 200,000 ideal ONE owners have become permanent leeks.
There is no doubt that with the closure of the official ordering channel of Li Auto, the retention rate of Li ONE in the used car market will further shrink. Because just last year, when the ideal ONE just announced the discontinuation of production, there were car owners who bought 350,000 and bought the ideal ONE for less than a year, and could only sell 260,000.
