The 11-year-old boy always wet the bed, slept and had nightmares, and the teacher moved in to live with him

During the arduous years of the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, Yan'an established a "special" primary school, the Eighth Route Army's "Anti-Small School". Some of the children who studied here fought on the front line, some worked in the border areas, and some had died in the revolutionary war.

Ah Mao and his sister entered the Eighth Route Army to "resist the small" and studied and lived in school. He was eleven years old this year, but Ah Mao was not used to the new life, had a bad temper, did not want to participate in the school's group activities, and often wet the bed at night, becoming a "special child". His classmates all hid from him.

Amao is famous for bedwetting. Whenever the sun came out, on the clothesline of the second-grade cave dormitory, there was a quilt painted with "maps" painted on it — a sign of Amao's bedwetting, and his classmates gave him the nickname "Bedwetting King".

Teacher Ma, the class teacher, had no choice but to send Ah Mao to the nursery class and ask wu Chengbao, an old Red Army, to help him.

In the nursery class, Uncle Wu Chengbao got up on time every night in the middle of the night, woke Ah Mao up, and whether he liked it or not, he would take him outside the house to pee. Ah Mao was a little afraid of him, so he had to obey. A week later, Ah Mao's bedwetting problem really improved, and in the middle of the night, without waiting for Uncle Wu to call him, he got up and went outside to pee. But as soon as he returned to the class, for some reason, Ah Mao's old problem was committed again- he wet the bed again in the middle of the night. Teacher Ma also did not recruit.

Han Zuoli, the director of the teaching, called Ah Mao into his room, built a bed, and lived with him, taking care of his life while trying to find out the real reason why he wet the bed.

Teacher Han asked, "Why don't you get up at night?"

Ah Mao was embarrassed and said, "I can't wake up." ”

In the cold winter of northern Shaanxi, Teacher Han got up in the middle of the night to wake up Ah Mao, put on clothes for him, and accompanied him to the outside toilet to pee. I found that he got up at night because he was afraid of the cold and timid. Teacher Han also found that his bedding was always wet, some wet with urine, and some wet with sweat. On a cold day, how can there still be sweat?

Teacher Han then told Amora that the reason why Ah Mao had a bad temper and did not listen to the advice of teachers and classmates was that after losing his parents, he was displaced in the Kuomintang-ruled areas and bullied by some bad people, so he resisted with scolding and became suspicious of everyone.

Wetting the bed at night is also because I have often been frightened since I was a child, and I have nightmares when I sleep, resulting in urinary incontinence.

Although Ah Mao has many problems in his body, he also has strengths and is a brave child.

As soon as the sun came out during the day, Teacher Han took out Ah Mao's futon to remove and wash and turn it over. When the sun was about to set, Teacher Han put the futon back and re-sewed it one by one. At night, Ah Mao slept in a clean and warm futon, not to mention how happy he was.

Teacher Han asked, "Shu is uncomfortable?"

Ah Mao grinned and said, "Of course it's comfortable, the bedding is dirty and smelly, hard and cold, and it's really uncomfortable to sleep in it." ”

Teacher Han also laughed.

Ah Mao said, "Teacher Han, when I wet the bed, my classmates look down on me, right?"

Teacher Han said: "The school is a big revolutionary family, in this family teachers and classmates are like family, they will not look down on you, but will help you." You are the child of a revolutionary martyr, be as brave and strong as your father, make up your mind to correct your shortcomings, and believe that you will become a good student. ”

Ah Mao first lowered his head, then raised his head, tears flashing in his eyes.

Ah Mao returned to his cave. Since then, Ah Mao has changed. At night, when his stomach is bloated, he will get up and go out to pee, put on his clothes when he is cold, dare to sing when he is afraid, never wet the bed again, and he will never see the "map" he drew during the day.

Teacher Han called the doctor to see Ah Mao again, prescribed medicine for him, and gradually his body improved, and he did not have nightmares and cold sweats at night.
