Comparison of the density of the road network of major urban agglomerations! According to the same scale, the map software takes a screenshot

Today, when I use map software to check the city, I take a screenshot of the road network map of some major cities under the map scale of the same size and compare it slightly, and find that some aspects seem to be unexpected:

01. The density of the road network in the Greater Bay Area can be called "unique"!

For a long time, in my impression, the Yangtze River Delta, the Pearl River Delta, and the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region have a similar degree of economic development, and they are the three major urban agglomerations that are indistinguishable! In particular, Beijing and Shanghai should be stronger than Guangzhou and Shenzhen, but I didn't expect that from the comparison of the road network map screenshots, I personally feel that the road network density in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area seems to be significantly denser, what is going on?

02. The density of the Bohai Rim road network in Tianjin is amazing!

In the early years, Tianjin's GDP almost won the "third city" in the country, but I didn't expect that it was said that because of the "crowding" of Binhai New Area, it soon fell outside the top ten in terms of GDP in the country, but judging from the screenshot of this map, Tianjin's road network density is so strong, and it feels like it is not inferior to Beijing next to it, and it should far exceed the cities outside Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Shenzhen, indicating that Tianjin's infrastructure is quite perfect, but why is GDP squeezed out of the top ten?

03. Chengyu feels worthy of its name as the "fourth pole"!

As the king of the west, the economic strength of Chengdu and Chongqing is obvious to all! From the screenshot of the map road network, the road network density of Chengdu and Chongqing is far higher than that of other second-tier cities, from this point of view, the Chengdu-Chongqing urban agglomeration as the fourth largest urban agglomeration in the country, can be described as worthy of its name, but compared with the other three major urban agglomerations, Chengdu and Chongqing, and Chengdu and Chongqing, the road network is obviously too sparse, indicating that "although the moon is bright, the stars are not enough"!

04. The density of Hangzhou and Wuhan significantly exceeds that of most provincial capitals!

Hangzhou and Wuhan are among the top 10 cities in terms of GDP in China, and the density of the road network is significantly higher than that of other provincial capitals after the top 10 cities in terms of GDP, reflecting the consistency of the transportation system and GDP ranking. In addition, as a provincial capital, although Hangzhou's GDP is lower than that of Suzhou, the density of the road network seems to be significantly greater than that of Suzhou, which is a prefecture-level city!
