On May 23, SAIC Volkswagen officially announced that its Tiguan L Pro officially opened pre-sale. No pre-sale price has been released, and the new car will be officially launched on May 30. The exterior styling will retain the design of the overseas version, and it will be sold at the same time as the current Tiguan L when it is launched.

In terms of exterior, the new car will be available in two exterior designs, the regular version and the R-Line, with the R-Line version adopting a more aggressive large heat dissipation opening design at the front, paired with a diamond-shaped grille, and quadrangular ventilation openings on both sides.

On the side, the car features a two-section waistline with black wheel arches, while 18-inch and 19-inch wheels are available. In terms of body size, the length, width and height of the new car are 4735/1842(1859)/1682mm, and the wheelbase is 2791mm.

In terms of interior, the new car continues the overall style of the overseas version, but on the Chinese version of the model, the configuration has been upgraded, in addition to the 10.3-inch full LCD instrument cluster and 15-inch floating central control touch screen, the co-pilot entertainment screen is unique to the Chinese version. At the same time, on the high-end models, the assisted driving system provided by DJI Automotive will also be adopted.

In terms of power, the new car will be equipped with a 2.0T high-power and low-power turbocharged four-cylinder engine, which is divided into 380TSI and 300TSI models according to different tuning, corresponding to a maximum power of 162W and 137kW respectively, and a maximum torque of 350 Nm and 320 Nm respectively.
