Losing the news of her husband, Chi Yuhua was very panicked, she listened many times, but she did not find, the life and death of her husband, she did not know anything, just like this, listening to her husband's words, she has been waiting, waiting until the founding of New China, there is no news of her husband, in order to be able to complete her husband's encouragement to herself, Chi Yuhua once signed up for the study class of old cadres in the Suzhou District of Nanchang Bayi University and became a female cadre.
While studying, Chi Yuhua searched for her husband, and it was not until 1983 that Chi Yuhua learned of her husband's news, and it turned out that in 1935, her husband Li Cailian had already died, when he was only 22 years old.
In October 1934, the main force of the Red Army Long March, the Soviet District Bureau remained in Ruijin Meikeng, Li Cailian was then the secretary of the Central Bureau of the Young Communist Party, in February 1935, the Soviet District had been completely lost, in order to be able to break through the encirclement, Li Cailian led the Seventh Regiment to prepare to cross the enemy blockade line through Huichang to Tingruibian, and then to the Fujian-Gansu Soviet District to carry out guerrilla warfare.
Later, because of the enemy's encirclement and suppression, Li Cailian exchanged fire with the enemy in order to cover the transfer of troops, the enemy's fire was too fierce to hold on, just when the enemy attacked, the deputy squad leader of the guard squad revealed his ugly human nature, took a gun and hit his comrades, Li Cailian unfortunately died, at the age of 22.
Knowing the true news of her husband, Chi Yuhua burst into tears, in 2005, waiting for 70 years did not wait for her husband's Chi Yuhua to die, at the age of 95, after her death, many local people spontaneously came to send her off, and her revolutionary love with her husband Li Cailian was also praised to this day.
