In Xingguo County, Jiaofu Village in Tea Garden Township, whenever the sunset is reflected, there is always an old man with his body hunched over, stepping on the edge of the door, looking at the distant mountain road with deep affection, and muttering over and over again: "Cailian, are you okay?" Where are you? Do you know, I am waiting for you at home..." In the endless thoughts, she waited, waited, waited, waited for more than 70 spring and autumn.

In the early spring of 1920, Chi Yuhua, who was only 9 years old, became Li Cailian's "child bride". Chinese New Year's Eve 1928, the two were officially married. On the third day after marriage, the husband left home to join the revolution. When they were separated, Li Cailian gave his wife a small mirror and told her: "If one day, someone says that I sacrificed, you must not believe it!" Anyway, you're going to have to wait for me. When the revolution succeeds, I will definitely go home and come back to pick you up. Chi Yuhua took the mirror in her husband's hand and nodded solemnly: "Rest assured, I am waiting for you!" ”

In the autumn of 1934, Chi Yuhua heard that Li Cailian was fighting a guerrilla war in Ruijin, so he decided to look for her husband. But she traveled all over the Mingan Mountains, over the mountains, and went door to door for a year, but she still did not find her husband.

In those years of watchful thinking, every morning, Chi Yuhua always had to look at the mirror given to her by her husband and comb through her long thoughts; 10 or 20 years later, she brought up her adopted son and pulled up her husband's 5 younger siblings. 30 years, 40 years have passed, and she has provided for her husband's grandmother and parents. The dark green silk was dyed with white hair by the wind and frost of the years, and a deep opening was stepped on the high wooden threshold. At the other end of the long time and space, Li Cailian, who was only 22 years old, died heroically at Ruijin Copper Bowl Mountain.

In the twilight of the dynasty, autumn to spring, Chi Yuhua used his life's Shaohua to fulfill a solemn promise. Chi Yuhua's thin body is the epitome of thousands of people in the Soviet Union; her eyes that are affectionately watched and watchful will always shine with the brilliance of the soviet cadres' dedication to the communist ideal.
