"Qiu Zhe's Epitaph" is the epitaph of the late Northern Wei Dynasty, the first year of Yong'an of the Northern Wei Dynasty (528 years) was established, the height and width of the stone are 45 centimeters, the inscription is 17 lines, and the full line is 19 characters. The title of the inscription is "The Epitaph of the Late Wei Envoy to Capture the General Huazhou Zhu Military Huazhou Thorn Shiqiu Gong". In 1927, it was unearthed in Magou Village, northeast of Luoyang City, Henan Province. In 1935, Mr. Yu Youren donated the Forest of Steles to Xi'an.
"The Epitaph of Qiu Zhe" shows that the calligrapher's grasp and control of the glyphs are very ingenious. There are strong changes in the size of the glyphs, and at the same time, on the basis of squareness, the glyphs show stretching and contracting in different directions, with a vivid and staggered state.
