At this time, the county ordered Jing to pass by, and he felt that there must be something strange in this matter, so he said that the wife of the family wanted to see it, and there was a heavy reward after the matter was completed, and he was taken to the Yamen for interrogation. JingXian Ling asked, "Are you a human or a dog?" The man replied, "I don't know if I'm a human or a dog." Jing Xian Ling asked again, "What did the two people who brought you here do?" The man replied, "They led me out in the morning and stuffed me into a bucket at night, so I couldn't see what they were doing." One time it rained and they fed me on the boat so I could get out of the barrel. I saw them open a box with dozens of wooden men with joints moving. ”
Jingxian Ling immediately arrested these two people and after severe torture, learned that this "dog" was made by them by using a special method. The wooden man in the box is also useful. When they got a child, they asked him to choose a wooden man himself, and then he disabled him in the appearance of a wooden man and sent him out as a beggar to ask for money. Jingxian Ling was furious and executed the two, and the child who turned into a dog was also starved to death.
One more thing. There is a beggar in Suzhou who carries a "bear" all day long. The "bear" cannot speak, but can write. It costs a penny for someone to look at this "bear"; if you take paper for him and ask him to write a Tang poem, it costs a hundred dollars. Once when the beggar went out, someone came to look for the "bear", and he seized the opportunity and wrote on the paper: "My real name is Jin Ruli, and when I was a child, I was taken away by this beggar and muted my throat with drug poison. He pricked me with a needle and wrapped it in the skin of a slaughtered bear, and then it grew together. Now he has made tens of thousands of dollars with me. ”
Horrified, the people quickly grabbed the beggar and sent him to the officials. In the law of the Ming Dynasty, those who "cut off life and cut" were to be executed, and those in the family were exiled even if they did not know it. However, it seems that the Punishment of the Qing Dynasty for this matter was reduced, and in the "Qing Pei Class Banknote", the evil man was only killed by the rod.
