During the year, BYD's cumulative sales of EV models and DM models reached 320,810 units and 272,935 units, respectively, up 144.9% and 467.6% year-on-year, respectively.
In terms of cars, the flagship Model Han sold 13,701 units in December. Among them, the sales of Han EV models exceeded 10,301 million units again. Among them, Tang DM has also entered the TOP3 ranks of more than 200,000 new energy SUVs for many consecutive months.
Another important product sequence, the Song family, also achieved sales of 22,386 vehicles in the same month, and the Song DM increased by 1650% year-on-year. As the last blockbuster model in 2021, the Song Pro DM-i was also officially launched on December 22, stirring up the undercurrent of the 150,000-class SUV market. At the time of the previous pre-sale, the cumulative order volume of song Pro DM-i on the first day had reached 18,116 units.
In 2021, BYD brought the ocean network, and its marine life series and warship series also launched the first model. Dolphin, the first model in the Ocean series, has seen significant growth since its launch in August, and after experiencing a ramp-up in production capacity, sales in December finally exceeded the 10,000-unit mark and reached 10,016 units.
