With this line of thinking, the current starting price of Song Plus EV is 169,800 yuan, and the yuan Plus and the former are actually just docking, covering a price range that does not overlap.
In terms of appearance, the new car has long been officially unveiled, using the BYD family style, with e platform 3.0, the most cutting-edge design of the original pure electric vehicle body proportions. The front part of the face has evolved in details such as the headlight group and the front bumper of the through-type light strip, and the sense of refinement has been significantly improved.
The short front and rear overhangs on the side of the body, the long wheelbase and the charging interface at the right front fender all show the identity of the e platform 3.0 pure electric frame, the swooping dynamic waistline, the smooth roof line, the large size of the pneumatic wheels and other elements are very stylish. In the rear part, the new car also continues the latest family style, with a sagging through-line light strip at both ends, a rounded and full tail box line, and the special decorative details corresponding to the front bar at the rear bumper, all of which have a full sense of futurism.
In terms of body size, the new car has reached 4450/1875/1615mm in three dimensions, and the wheelbase is as high as 2720mm, which is close to the level of Song Plus, compared with the old Yuan series, with an improvement of nearly 200mm, and the width has also reached the level of leapfrogging, which can be described as a rebirth.
In terms of interior, BYD's so-called "rhythmic space" design concept has caused great controversy since its debut, a large number of wavy arcs, circular design elements, peculiar air conditioning outlets, door panel handles, sound covers and so-called string door panel decoration and other elements, are not easy to quickly accept, and the new steering wheel style and still small size LCD dashboard is not satisfactory to everyone. But at the same time, the 15.6-inch central control LCD screen, brand audio, everywhere atmosphere light strip, the same price point is quite excellent interior materials and other elements, but also show quite good sincerity.
In terms of power, the new car is equipped with a single motor with a maximum power of 204 horsepower and a maximum torque of 330 Nm, which is an improvement over models such as the Song Plus, showing the evolution of the platform, while the battery is of course a lithium iron phosphate blade battery, and the NEDC pure electric mileage is 430 km and 510 km. Obviously, in terms of energy density, it is still not the strength of the iron battery currently used by BYD.
