Recently, Lexus held a grand press conference in Japan, at which Akio Toyoda announced the exterior design of the Lexus RZ 450e, and he also shared toyota electrification plans, bZ pure electronics brand strategy and Lexus future electrification concept.
Evolved from the concept car LF-Z electric, the Lexus RZ takes on a futuristic color design language and is paired with several new Lexus technologies. While the RZ's real car exterior is less aggressive than the LF-Z Electric, the Lexus RZ has a lot more of the obvious iconic waistline on the side. Interestingly, at this year's Miami Design Show, Lexus teamed up with artist Germane Barnes to create a work of art called "ON/", which is a line drawing of the Lexus LF-Z concept car, made of steel wire and suspended from wires. We don't know what the interior design of the Lexus RZ will be like, and many people are worried that it will also use the bZ4x and the special-shaped steering wheel in the LF-Z concept car. So, how is the Lexus RZ different from the Toyota bZ4x?

At present, Toyota has not disclosed the parameters of the Lexus RZ 450e powertrain, but considering that it will be equipped with a Direct4 four-wheel drive system, the new car should have a front and rear axle dual motor layout. Because Lexus has always been strictly different from Toyota in terms of power, just like NX and RAV4. Therefore, there will be performance differences between RZ and bZ4x in the future, and we still especially hope that RZ has better performance parameters than bZ4x.
