On December 23, at the launch of Huawei's winter flagship new products, AITO, a high-end smart car brand jointly built by Huawei and Jinkang Cyris, announced that its first model was named Q&I M5. As a mid-size SUV, the Inquisitive M5 is equipped with the Hongmeng OS Smart Cockpit and is equipped with a range extender hybrid system as the Cyrus Huawei Smart SF5.
In terms of styling, the M5 adopts a new design language, the sharply shaped headlight group with the inverted trapezoidal grille makes its front face look very visually impactful, and the latest brand logo is also hung in the center of the front face. It is understood that the M5 has a total of five car paint colors and three interior colors to choose from.
Coming to the side of the car, the M5 adopts a slip-on body, and the rear adopts the popular through-type taillight group, and the central part of the taillight also has the brand letter logo AITO. In terms of body size, the new car is positioned as a mid-size SUV with a length, width and height of 4770x1930x1625mm and a wheelbase of 2880mm.
The interior was first released at this event, the Q&I M5 adopts a wrap-around cockpit design, the center console is a T-shaped layout, with a 10.4-inch curved full LCD instrument panel and a 15.6-inch semi-suspended central control screen, which further enhances the degree of technology in the car. It is worth mentioning that the M5 is the first to carry the Hongmeng OS intelligent cockpit, so as to achieve easier interactive operation and a more comfortable interactive experience.
In the power part, the Inquisitive M5, which is based on the pure electric drive extender platform DE-i, continues the extender hybrid system. The maximum power of the 1.5T four-cylinder engine is 92 kW, the drive motor is rated at 60 kW, and the peak power is 165 kW (front axle motor) and 150 kW (rear axle motor), respectively.
The WLC has a range of 150km in pure electric mode. NEDC has a range of 1250 km and the WLTC has a range of 1000 km. The official acceleration time of 0-50km/h is 1.95 seconds, and the acceleration time of 0-100km/h is 4.65 seconds.
