Morning Post News (reporter Xu Yimei correspondent Zhuang Jingyi) "Child, you are not abandoned, we have been looking for you for 31 years..." A few days ago, at the Jinjiang Magnetic Stove Police Station, 53-year-old Ms. Wen hugged and cried with her son Xiao Chen, who had been away for 31 years. The son was abducted when he was 2 years old while accompanying his parents to sell vegetables and is now a father. After 31 years of hard work, they can finally reunite as a family.

31 years ago, Mr. and Mrs. Wu set up a stall near Taici Bridge in Guiyang City to sell vegetables. Mr. Wu, 55, recalls that on weekdays, the couple was busy selling vegetables and had no time to take care of their 2-year-old son, so he sat on a small stool one meter behind them.

On May 18, 1990, the couple was busy as usual, but when they turned around, they no longer saw their son. The couple panicked and hurriedly looked around, and the bus stop and train station were all searched, but they still couldn't find it.

The couple immediately called the police, but due to the poor economic conditions at that time, they did not take photos of their sons, and the search was difficult, and there was no news of their sons.

In the 31 years that followed, the couple had two more sons, but neither gave up looking for the eldest son. They inquired everywhere, as long as they got a little clue, they went to verify, and they also came to the Fujian area to look for it, but they did not return.

On September 18, 2013, after seeing the news of the state's vigorous crackdown on child trafficking, the couple came to the Guizhou Qianxi County Public Security Bureau to collect blood and store it, hoping to find their son with the help of modern high technology.

On November 15 this year, they finally ushered in good news after years of hard work. The Jinjiang Cizao Police Station received a tip from the superior, and they were related by blood to Mr. And Mrs. Wu, a 33-year-old man in Cizao Town. The civilian police immediately contacted the two sides through multiple channels.

On the morning of December 7, Mr. and Mrs. Wu and his second and third sons came from their hometown in Guizhou to reunite with Xiao Chen. As soon as Ms. Wen saw Xiao Chen, her tears couldn't stop falling. Looking back on the 31 years of running and worrying about him, I feel both wronged and relieved.

The police said that when Xiao Chen was first contacted to inform him of his origins, Xiao Chen was silent for a while, before he did not know that he had been abducted, and asked the police: "Was I abandoned by my parents?" The couple said anxiously: "You are our flesh and blood, how can we be willing to abandon you, but we have been looking for you!" Hearing his parents' efforts for him over the years, Xiao Chen also had mixed feelings and gradually let go.

For the reunion of this moment, Mr. wu and his wife waited for 31 years. Now that the son has become a father, the old couple is still "happy" with the three grandchildren, of which the third child is still a pair of dragon and phoenix fetuses, so that the old couple is overjoyed.

Under the witness of the police, the family finally took the first family portrait to make up for the lack of family affection for 31 years. As 2021 draws to a close, they look forward to the family reunion in the Spring Festival of 2022. At the scene of the recognition, Mr. and Mrs. Wu presented a pennant to the police and thanked the police for their efforts to reunite their family.
