The revolutionary history of modern and modern China is tortuous and long, and in this history, countless outstanding revolutionaries have emerged. Together, they composed this magnificent revolutionary movement in China, ending the darkness and humiliation of China for a hundred years.
In the past, these revolutionaries who had made outstanding contributions continued to struggle in the front line after the founding of the People's Republic of China and became the first leading bodies after the founding of New China. But in fact, in addition to these leaders we are familiar with, there are many revolutionary martyrs who sacrificed themselves on the battlefield and failed to see the national flag of new China rising.

Li Shuoxun, the "first talent in the party," was a martyr who died at the age of twenty-eight, leaving only one son. In the 1920s, When China's revolutionary cause was just beginning, Li Shuoxun belonged to the first batch of young people who awakened revolutionary ideas.
His hometown is in Sichuan, and during his school years, he studied advanced ideas and began to awaken his revolutionary consciousness. He knew for a long time that the only way to save the current China was the revolution.

After figuring out all this, Li Shuoxun actively participated in the revolutionary movement and became one of the pioneers of the Socialist Communist Youth League in Sichuan Province. Because of his excessive influence, Li Shuoxun also attracted the attention of the reactionaries, and then in order to avoid the pursuit of the reactionaries, he could only continue to flee.
In the process of refuge, Li Shuoxun still insisted on studying, and once entered many schools in Beijing, Shanghai and other places, and spread revolutionary ideas to many students.
While studying in Shanghai, he came into contact with many mature revolutionaries, and after listening to their lessons, Li Shuoxun's revolutionary will became more and more determined. Soon after, the mighty May Fourth Movement broke out, and Li Shuoxun was elected as the leader of the All-China Federation of Students, responsible for organizing the local student movement in Shanghai. Li Shuoxun not only had a high revolutionary consciousness, but also had quite outstanding abilities, and he showed outstanding leadership skills during his time at the school.
In organizing the student movement, Li Shuoxun lived up to expectations and made a large number of meaningful decisions and commands, which greatly reduced the number of casualties of patriotic students. During this period, he met Zhou Enlai, and the two accumulated deep revolutionary feelings in the process of working together, and became friends who talked about everything. In 1924, Li Shuoxun officially joined the Communist Party and became a member of the Communist Party.

After joining the party, he still actively participated in the revolutionary movement, and because of his outstanding performance, he was soon promoted to secretary of the Jiangsu Military Commission, mainly responsible for leading the local armed revolutionary struggle. Li Shuoxun's promotion speed is the fastest in his class, because of his excellent work ability, he has also won the reputation of "the first talent in the party", if he can live safely to the award ceremony, the rank will certainly not be low.
However, it was in response to the word "heavenly jealousy" that Li Shuoxun sacrificed at a young age. In 1931, Cai and Sen died heroically, and the revolutionary work in Guangdong Province became a pot of porridge, and a new leader was urgently needed to take office. Li Shuoxun was ordered to rush to Guangdong to direct revolutionary work.
However, Guangdong was very dangerous at that time, and Li Shuoxun was unfortunately arrested a few months later. He was tortured at the hands of the enemy without revealing any useful information, and was only twenty-eight years old at the time of his death.
Before the sacrifice, Li Shuoxun sent a family letter, which was written to his wife. In the letter, he did not have time to express his thoughts and regrets, but only urgently told his wife not to come to collect the corpse, to take his son to live well, and to continue the revolutionary cause.
His wife, Zhao Juntao, was only twenty-eight years old at the time, and after receiving this letter, she was very sad, but in the end she obeyed her husband's orders and did not go to collect the body.

After that, she lived alone with her three-year-old son, continued to complete her husband's unfinished revolutionary cause, never moved the idea of remarrying for many years, and remained alone until her death. The son of the two men was named Li Peng, and as the children of revolutionary martyrs, they also paid great attention to him organizationally.
Premier Zhou personally introduced him to Yan'an to study, and he himself worked hard and achieved good results. When he grew up, he went to Moscow to study hydroelectric power.
After graduating from university in Moscow, he returned to China for the first time, inherited his father's will, and dedicated his life to China's socialist construction. Later, he also entered the political arena, starting from the grassroots, step by step to promote in a down-to-earth manner, and finally to the premier of the State Council, if Li Shuoxun had a spirit in heaven, he would be very pleased to know his son's achievements.
As an early member of the Communist Party of China, Li Shuoxun had both excellent work ability and revolutionary ideas, and although he died very early, his revolutionary ideas were passed down. Whether it is his son Li Peng or thousands of other young party members, they can see the shadow of Li Shuoxun in their bodies, and the spirit of the martyrs will live on forever although they are dead!
