As a luxury sports brand that pursues driving pleasure, BMW has three different styles of models tuned to M Sports Suit, M Performance and M Power. Among them, M sports suits and M Power models are the most common, while M Performance models are relatively rare in China. Compared with the M sports suit model, the M Performance model is developed in close collaboration with BMW and the M department, with a more powerful dynamic driving performance, and the engine, suspension, exhaust, brakes, etc. have been specially tuned, the performance is second only to the BMW M Power model, but also has a relatively close price, has always had a high degree of attention.
Half a year ago, BMW officially announced that it would introduce five new M Performance series models in 2022, including the M240i, X3 M40i, X4 M40i, i4 M50 and iX M60. At present, the BMW i4 M50 and iX M60 have been listed, priced at 539,900 yuan and 996,900 yuan respectively.
Recently, it was learned from relevant channels that BMW X3 M40i and X4 M40i models have begun production this month, and I believe that the time to market is also fast. It is worth mentioning that the new X3 M40i and new X4 M40i introduced to the Chinese market were officially released globally in the middle of last year, and the new car is based on the mid-term redesign of BMW X3 and X4, which is upgraded and built, equipped with a more sporty design, richer configuration and a more powerful power system.

Specifically, in terms of appearance, bmw X3 M40i and BMW X4 M40i are equipped with many kits from M Power, including a black double fukujo double kidney grille, and the M logo has been newly added inside the grille, highlighting the distinguished status. For comparison, the BMW X3 M and BMW X4 M normal version are also equipped with a 3.0T in-line six-cylinder engine, with a maximum power of 480 hp, a peak torque of 620 Nm, and the transmission system matches the 8-speed manual transmission and xDrive intelligent all-wheel drive system, and the acceleration time of 100 kilometers is only 4 seconds. The Thunder version of the model increased horsepower and torque by 30 hp and 30 Nm respectively, and the acceleration time of 100 kilometers was 3.8 seconds.
Compared with the exterior interior and power parameters, I believe that everyone cares more about the price of these two cars, in the British market, BMW X3 M40i is priced at 59,700 pounds (about 495,400 yuan); in the Japanese market, bmw X4 M40i M Sport Edition is priced at 10.225 million yen (about 514,900 yuan).
Back to the domestic market, the current BMW X3 price range of 39.28-47.98 million yuan, BMW X3 M price range of 83.99-89.99 million yuan, and both models in the terminal market have 50,000-60,000 yuan discount, according to the previous M Performance model than the ordinary version of the model 200,000 yuan to calculate, it can be judged that the starting price of the new BMW X3 M40i model will be around 600,000, which is definitely cheaper than mercedes-Benz GLC 43 (priced at 670,800 yuan).
