In terms of power, the new car's 3.0T engine is expected to have a power output of 294 kW (400 hp), while the more powerful M2 Competition engine may reach a maximum power of 316 kW (430 hp). After the new car is launched, the more powerful CS and CSL versions will also be dedicated. At present, BMW has not yet revealed the release time of the new car, but the outside world speculates that it will most likely debut within the year, and together with M3 Touring, M3 CSL and XM, it will become a tribute to the 50th anniversary of BMW's M division (BMW M GmbH).
