Now, with the official addition of the light trailer quasi-driving type (C6) in the "Regulations on the Application and Use of Motor Vehicle Driving Licenses", the first step of trailer-type motorhome travel, the C6 driver's license has finally been arranged. However, it should be noted that although the C6 has the qualification to drive a "trailer-mounted caravan" on the road, there are still matters that need to be paid attention to.
To obtain a C6 driver's license, three conditions need to be met: one is to obtain a C1 or above quasi-driving driving license; the second is that there is no record of 12 points in this scoring cycle and the most recent scoring cycle before the application; the third is that the age of the applicant needs to be between 20-60 years old, and 60-70 years old, after passing the memory, judgment, reaction and other ability tests, can also apply for an additional C6 driving license.
Secondly, the content of the exam is mainly divided into two items: subject two practical exercises and subject three safe and civilized driving knowledge. Among them, the subject two examination items include pile test, curve driving, right angle turn 3 items, different from the C1 or C2 driver's license assessment, after the vehicle adds trailer, the driver needs to have a more sensitive perception judgment and operation of the body position and moving trajectory. Of course, the difficulty varies from person to person, just like the first time you take a driver's license.
It is worth noting that those who originally held a tractor quasi-driving driver's license (A2), who had cancelled their A2 driver's license due to reaching the age of 60 or voluntarily downgraded, and now need to drive a light tow trailer, can apply directly to the vehicle management office for a C6 driver's license, without the need for another examination.
Trailer-type motorhomes can be divided into trailer-type A-type motorhomes, trailer-trailer type B motorhomes, trailer-mounted C-type motorhomes, trailer-mounted D-type motorhomes, mobile villa A-type, mobile villa B-type motorhomes, etc.

It should be noted that the trailer caravan cannot carry people during the driving, and the personnel must be seated in the front car, so the focus of the selection of the trailer caravan is on the internal space. First of all, the height of the general domestic trailer-mounted caravan is usually 0.5 to 0.7 meters, the height of the body is usually below two meters and eight, and the height limit pole of two meters and eight is basically fearless, while the vertical space left for the living area is also relatively abundant.

Perhaps many people think that with a driver's license and trailer, you can enjoy the freedom of trailer caravan travel. But in fact, we also need to pay attention to whether our original vehicle can be towed and what the weight of the trailer is. If you want to go to a place with more complicated road conditions, you must also consider whether the passability and power of the vehicle can meet the demand.
According to the provisions of the national standard GB-7258 of the People's Republic of China: after the car tow trailer, it is formed into a car train, and when the car is towed the trailer, the width should be greater than or equal to 1650mm, similar to the Wuling Hongguang MINI EV. In fact, personally, it will be more recommended to combine pickup trucks + tractors, on the one hand, pickup trucks have lower torque and higher torque and mostly use diesel, which is more economical in terms of cost of use, on the other hand, pickup trucks tend to have better passability and can cope with relatively more complex road conditions. Of course, if your vehicle itself has good passability and meets the standards, it can naturally be used as a trailer.
