The model corresponding to the C6 driver's license is a light traction trailer with a trailer. Drivers with a C6 driver's license can tow a trailer behind their family car, but it should be noted that the total weight of the family car responsible for towing and the trailer behind must not exceed 4.5 tons.
The light tractor trailer is commonly known as the "caravan". The C6 driver's license to apply for driving this model can only be obtained through "additional driving".
Xia Hongbo, deputy chief of the examination department of the Vehicle Management Institute of the Traffic Management Bureau of the Wuhan Municipal Public Security Bureau:
1. You must have a driver's license of C1, C2, A1, A3, B1, B2 to be able to increase driving, C6 is not directly applicable.
2. Candidates must be at least 20 years old, and those over 60 years old cannot register. After the age of the additional driver reaches 70 years old, the C6 will be downgraded to C1 and C2.
3. When driving additionally, the original driving qualification must be completed for one year, and 12 points must not be scored in a scoring cycle before it can be increased.
4. The A2 driver's license does not have to take the C6 test, and the C6 permission is automatically obtained from April 1.
