On April 26, the reporter learned from the Henan Provincial Department of Transportation that recently, 5 candidates successfully passed the C6 examination in Xinxiang, becoming the first batch of drivers in the province to obtain a C6 driver's license (driver's license) for light traction trailer permitting qualifications. One in 20 million opportunities in the province is one step closer to the "caravan self-driving dream", which really makes Xiaobian envious.
At present, there are 6 driving schools in the province that carry out C6 business training, which are located in Zhengzhou, Xinxiang, Kaifeng and Dengzhou, and with the improvement of the epidemic situation, there will be more and more driving schools to carry out C6 business training in the future.

About the application method
Those who have obtained a quasi-driving driving license or above for driving a small car (C1) or a small automatic car (C2) and have not recorded 12 points in this scoring cycle and the most recent scoring cycle before the application, can apply for a driving license for additional light traction trailer (C6).

About the age of application
Applicants for a C6 driver's license must be over 20 years old and under 60 years old. For those over 60 years old and under 70 years old, if there is a real need to drive a light traction trailer, they can also apply for an additional C6 driving license after passing the ability tests such as memory, judgment and reaction.

About driving training and exams
In the "Motor Vehicle Driving Training Teaching and Examination Outline", C6 training includes two aspects: training and teaching mainly includes hour arrangement, teaching requirements, and syllabus, a total of 30 hours, including 4 hours of road traffic safety laws and regulations and related knowledge, 16 hours of basic and site driving, 4 hours of road driving, and 6 hours of safe and civilized driving knowledge;
Subject two and subject three safe and civilized driving knowledge, full score of 100 points, the score of 90 points are qualified, subject two examination items include pile test, curve driving, right angle turn three items, focusing on the driver's perception of body position, moving trajectory and other perception, judgment, operation, to ensure that there is a light traction trailer safe driving ability.

Important Reminder
If you originally held an A2 quasi-driving driver's license, but had cancelled your A2 driver's license due to reaching the age of 60 or voluntarily downgrading, and now you still need to drive a light traction trailer, you can directly apply to the Vehicle Management Office to endorse the C6 quasi-driving qualification.
Before driving a tow trailer on the road, it should be noted that the small car with the trailer needs to have quasi-traction ability, the rear of the vehicle has a special traction device and steering, brake light signal interface, the driving license endorsement quasi-traction total mass; the trailer to be towed should be registered; the total mass of the tractor quasi-traction should be greater than the total mass of the trailer towed; the sum of the total mass of the tractor and trailer is less than 4500 kg.
In addition, because the light traction trailer C6 is a car train, the driving operation is relatively difficult, there are many driving habits and daily driving of ordinary passenger cars have obvious differences, so it is necessary to go through systematic formal training in the legal driving school, pass the final examination and obtain the corresponding certificates and then drive on the road, while strictly abiding by traffic laws and regulations, driving cautiously, driving in a civilized manner, and ensuring travel safety.
