Times Finance has learned that at present, Beijing's Kyoto Prefecture, Dongfeng Fashion and other driving schools have added C6 driver's license training programs. On April 13, according to the staff of the Oriental Fashion Driving School, after the new regulations were introduced, more than 100 students registered, and some people have passed the test.
The post-90s self-media who earn travel expenses while walking and the retired post-60s who have "money and leisure" have formed a large army of training C6 driver's licenses in driving schools.

But in April this year, after arriving in Kunming, Yunnan, Wang Jie not only abruptly suspended his trip to Yunnan and chose to "camp" in the parking lot outside the Kunming Driving School, but also suspended the video update. The reason for this is that the husband lacks a C6 driver's license that can legally go on the road.
It is reported that on April 1 this year, the Ministry of Public Security's newly revised "Regulations on the Application and Use of Motor Vehicle Driving Licenses" added a new quasi-driving type - C6. According to the Regulations, drivers who have obtained C1 and C2 driver's licenses and who have not recorded 12 points in the latest scoring cycle before the application can legally tow light trailers or trailerS in the rear of their own passenger cars after passing the driving test, and the total mass of the tractor and the trailer/RVs shall not exceed 4500KG.
After the new regulations were introduced, in order to be able to legally get on the road again, Wang Jie's husband could only enter the driving school again.
Now Wang Jie's husband is studying C6 driver's license subject two, and the cost of additional driving is about 7200 yuan. In their self-media accounts, it can be seen that some bloggers use videos to record that they have interrupted their journey back to their hometown to learn C6; some bloggers will update their process of learning C6 driver's licenses at driving school from time to time; and some bloggers have recorded interesting things about fans urging themselves to learn C6 driver's licenses.
The post-60s occupy the "half of the C6 driving test"?
In fact, in addition to some post-90s caravan bloggers, the post-60s who have spare money also occupy half of the C6 driving test project, and Jiang Jianguo and his wife in Xi'an are one of them.

He also revealed that another big reason to put motorhome travel into action is "for health". For more than a year of travel, they stop and go, enjoy a comfortable and slow life, and also take time to exercise every day. Now Jiang Jianguo said that the daily dose of medicine has decreased. Before Jiang Jianguo and his wife also went to Dalian, parked the caravan on the left bank of Dalian Xinghai Square on the "caravan concentration camp", stayed for more than a month, the couple would go to the market to buy vegetables, would go for a walk in the square, and occasionally put the trailer caravan in the camp, drive the car to the surrounding counties and districts for a day. Similar to the situation of Jiang Jianguo's driving school, on April 13, the staff of Beijing Oriental Fashion Driving School also revealed to Times Finance that consumers who have recently consulted the C6 driver's license training are mostly retirees in their 50s. "After the new regulations were introduced, there were about 100 students who signed up, and the older ones were more numerous, and some of them had already passed the second subject examination." In addition, the relevant person in charge of a driving school also said that among the 300 students officially registered in mid-February this year, the age was mainly in the range of 45-55 years old, and the largest was more than 60 years old.
Industry insiders believe that in the C6 driver's license training, the number of middle-aged and elderly retirees is large, an obvious reason is that they have a lot of free time at their disposal, and another point is that they have completed material accumulation and have pension and other guarantees.
It is worth mentioning that the previous "Regulations" showed that the age of drivers applying for additional driving C6 should be between 20 and 60 years old. However, on March 29, the "Provisions" deliberately added that "for those over 60 years old and under 70 years old who really need to drive a light traction trailer, they can also apply for an additional C6 driving license after passing the memory, judgment, reaction and other ability tests.". C6 driver's license online, trailer caravan market heating up?
The launch of the C6 driver's license has not only heated up the driving test market, but also increased the number of people who have recently consulted trailer-mounted RVs.

According to him, compared with self-propelled motorhomes, the convenience and cost performance of trailer-mounted RVs are the main characteristics that attract customers.
It is understood that the domestic caravans for sale are mainly divided into two categories: self-propelled caravans and trailer-trailerS, and at present, an ordinary class C self-propelled caravan in China is basically about 200,000-300,000 yuan, while the price of an entry-level trailer-mounted caravan is only about 50,000 yuan. In addition, upon arrival at the campsite, trailers can be split off from the front tractor and freely choose how to travel.

However, Li Qiang also said that although the number of consumers consulting trailer models has increased significantly, most people have not yet placed an order to buy and are still waiting. According to times finance, according to relevant regulations, when the car is towing a trailer, the width of the car should be greater than or equal to 1650mm. In addition, in addition to requiring the total mass of the front and rear vehicles to be less than 4500KG, the new regulations also require that the driving license of the towed vehicle should be marked with "quasi-traction total mass", and it should be greater than the total mass of the trailer. In addition, the actual vehicle of the towing vehicle also needs to be equipped with a vehicle that meets the requirements of the traction device to have the qualification for driving on the road on the legal traction trailer.
In addition, the parking of trailer-mounted RVs has also become another factor hindering consumers from placing orders. On April 13, a business specializing in RV sales said that after some customers consulted the size of the vehicle, they said that the parking problem was difficult to solve. At the same time, industry insiders also believe that the parking problem of RVs is temporarily difficult to solve. It is worth mentioning that unlike individual consumers, some driving schools have purchased C6 driving license test cars. For example, the staff of the Oriental Fashion Driving School said that after mid-February, students can get on the training car to practice. On April 13, Times Finance also saw from the official website of a caravan that there is already an introduction to the C6 driving test training model for the driving school, and the price is only about 35,000 yuan. The above sales also said that some of the orders received recently came to drive the training cars purchased by the school.
Industry experts generally believe that due to the purchase of driving school training vehicles, the sales of trailer-mounted RVs may increase slightly in the short term, but the current domestic RV market is still in its infancy, and related supporting facilities still need to be improved, and there may not be a hot phenomenon for the time being.
