In the past, the "Regulations on the Application and Use of Motor Vehicle Driving Licenses" stipulated that 12 months after the first application for a motor vehicle driver's license and the addition of a quasi-driving type were the internship period. There are strict requirements for drivers on the road during the internship period, which brings a lot of trouble to the owner's travel. The new regulations improve the management system of the internship period, clarifying that the 12 months after the first acquisition of the automobile quasi-driving type or the first acquisition of the motorcycle quasi-driving type are the internship period, and the additional driving of each model is no longer a separate internship period, which solves the problem of the masses reflecting too many restrictions on the internship period.
After the implementation of the new ministerial decree, if the owner has obtained a C1 driver's license, then he will no longer have a 12-month internship period when he drives other quasi-driving types of cars (such as A and B quasi-driving types). Similarly, if the owner has originally obtained a motorcycle E certificate, and then adds a D certificate, because it belongs to the same type of motorcycle, then the newly added motorcycle D certificate also has no internship period.

There is an internship period for holding an automobile driving license to increase the driving type of motorcycle type, or holding a motorcycle type to increase the driving type of automobile type. For example, if a driver has obtained a C1 driver's license, there is still a 12-month internship period to add a motorcycle to the quasi-driving type.

Although the internship period has been cancelled for the driver's license of the same type of vehicle, there are still requirements for the age and scoring period of the original driver's license.
Additional driving B1 quasi-driving type: You must hold A3, B2, C1, C2, C3, C4 for more than two years, and have not recorded 12 points in the last two consecutive scoring cycles before the application.
Additional driving A2 quasi-driving type: you need to hold B1, B2 for more than two years, or hold A1 for more than one year, and have not recorded 12 points in the last two consecutive scoring cycles before applying.
Additional driving A1 quasi-driving type: you need to hold A3, B1 for more than two years, hold B2 for more than three years, or hold A2 for more than one year, and have not recorded 12 points in the last three consecutive scoring cycles before applying.
Add C6 quasi-driving type: have obtained the qualification to drive C1 and C2 quasi-driving type for more than one year, and the score cycle and the most recent scoring cycle before the application have not recorded 12 points.

Drivers during the internship period should pay attention to the following:
1. Paste the internship sticker
Drivers who drive a motor vehicle during the probationary period shall affix or hang a uniform style of internship signs behind the vehicle.
2. You are not allowed to drive these vehicles during the internship period
During the internship period, motor vehicle drivers shall not drive buses, operating passenger cars or police cars, fire trucks, ambulances, engineering ambulances and motor vehicles carrying explosives, inflammable and explosive chemicals, highly toxic or radioactive and other dangerous items;
The new C6 quasi-driving type added by Order No. 162 needs to be obtained through the additional driving license of the automobile type, and under the ministerial order to clearly cancel the provisions of the internship period of the driving license of the same type of vehicle, the holder of C6 is not subject to the above "motor vehicles shall not be allowed to tow trailers during the internship period". If you have signed your C6 driver's license with the traffic control department, you can drive a light trailer motorhome.
3. You must be accompanied by you on the highway during the internship period
Drivers driving a motor vehicle on the highway during the probationary period shall be accompanied by a driver who has held the corresponding or included a quasi-driving type driver's license for more than three years. Among them, the driver of a small automatic passenger car for the disabled can be accompanied by a driver who holds a quasi-driving type driver's license above the small automatic passenger car.
During the probationary period after the addition of the quasi-driving type, the above restrictions are not applicable when driving the original quasi-driving type of motor vehicle.
4. During the internship period, 12 points will be credited and the quasi-driving type of the internship will be cancelled
If 12 points or more are credited during the internship period, the quasi-driving qualification of the internship will be cancelled. To regain this driving qualification, you need to re-register for the exam.
