From the perspective of sub-categories, the sales of sports multi-purpose passenger vehicles (SUVs) in March were 17664 units, an increase of 15.23% year-on-year; the sales of multi-purpose passenger vehicles (MPVs) were 2091 units, down 45.59% year-on-year; the sales of basic passenger cars (sedans) were 3962 units, an increase of 63.31% year-on-year; the sales of light trucks were 14923 units, a decrease of 36.13% year-on-year; the sales of medium-sized trucks were 1672 units, a decrease of 28.46% year-on-year; and the sales of heavy trucks were 1302 units Sales of pure electric passenger cars decreased by 78.44% year-on-year, an increase of 55.04% year-on-year.
