From the perspective of sub-categories, the sales of sports multi-purpose passenger cars (SUVs) in April were 9799 units, down 39.44% year-on-year; the sales of multi-purpose passenger vehicles (MPVs) were 928 units, down 73.13% year-on-year; the sales of basic passenger cars (sedans) were 2343 units, down 10.64% year-on-year; light truck sales were 11051 units, down 54.25% year-on-year; medium-sized truck sales were 1500 units, up 11.69% year-on-year; heavy truck sales were 843 units. Sales of pure electric passenger cars decreased by 78.84% year-on-year, down 28.18% year-on-year.
According to the data, Jianghuai Automobile is a collection of commercial vehicles, passenger cars and powertrain research and development, manufacturing, sales and service in one of the integrated automobile manufacturers, the company's products are mainly vehicles and bus chassis, of which the vehicle products are divided into passenger cars and commercial vehicles, passenger cars include Sihao brand SUVs, Sihao brand cars, Sihao new energy passenger cars, Ruifeng brand MPV and other products, commercial vehicles include light trucks, heavy trucks, multi-functional commercial vehicles, buses and other products.
Jianghuai Automobile said that in 2022, the company will adhere to the guiding ideology of "user-centered, strategy-oriented, innovation-oriented, and change-driven", adhere to the business policy of "quality, technology, brand, scale and efficiency", make commercial vehicles bigger and stronger, concentrate on the development of intelligent vehicles and intelligent new energy vehicles, transform and develop parts business, innovate and develop auto finance, auto logistics and value-added business, and create an industrial ecosystem with Jianghuai Automobile characteristics.
In addition, Jianghuai Automobile also pointed out that in 2022, the mainland will continue to do a solid job in the "six stability" and "six guarantees" work, continue to improve people's livelihood, focus on stabilizing the macroeconomic market, and keep the economic operation in a reasonable range. In this context, the demand for the automobile market will remain stable, with the supply of chips on the supply side, raw material prices running high and other issues in the new year gradually improved, it is expected that the automotive market will show a stable and good development trend in 2022.
Looking forward to 2022, JAC Motors plans to produce and sell 568,000 vehicles and chassis of various types, an increase of 8.36% year-on-year, and is expected to achieve a total operating income of 45 billion yuan, an increase of 11.63% year-on-year.
