According to the express, BYD sold 106,042 new energy vehicles in April, an increase of 313.23% year-on-year; from January to April, the cumulative sales of new energy vehicles were 392,371 units, up 387.94% year-on-year.

Among them, new energy commercial vehicles sold 567 units in April, down 9.71% year-on-year; cumulative sales from January to April totaled 2,159 units, an increase of 8.00% year-on-year.

New energy buses are the main business of BYD's commercial vehicle segment, with sales of 529 units in April, an increase of 61.77% year-on-year, and cumulative sales of 1,766 units from January to April, an increase of 53.70% year-on-year.

In addition, bydir's total installed capacity of new energy vehicle power batteries and energy storage batteries in April 2022 was about 6.242 GWh, and the cumulative installed capacity in 2022 was about 20.980 GWh.
