In February, the penetration rate of the domestic retail market of new energy vehicles reached 21.8%, significantly higher than the penetration rate of 16.6% in January, and 13 percentage points higher than the penetration rate of 8.1% in the same period last year. From the data point of view, in February this year, the top 15 new energy vehicle sales companies are still important to their own brands, overseas brands only Tesla and North and South Volkswagen on the list. BYD Automobile won the first place in the sales of new energy vehicles with sales of 86,669 units, and its sales were significantly ahead, up 751.3% year-on-year. Although the sales of most car companies affected by the Spring Festival holiday in February fell sharply compared with January, BYD's new energy vehicle sales did not fall much compared with 92,788 units last month.
SAIC-GM-Wuling continued to rank second, with sales of 28,713 new energy vehicles, up 48.4% year-on-year, only slightly lower than the 29,723 units last month. SAIC-GM-Wuling's new energy sales are mainly from Hongguang MINI, whose sales in February were 26116 crazy.
Tesla returned to third place, selling 23,200 units in February, up 26.7% year-on-year. Although the retail sales of the Model 3 are not ideal, the Model Y sales are still very strong, and the total sales volume is still higher than the 19346 units last month.
Geely Automobile and Chery Automobile ranked fourth and fifth respectively in new energy sales. Among them, Geely's new energy sales were 13697 vehicles; Chery Automobile's new energy sales were 10271 vehicles, its QQ ice cream sales were 6442 vehicles, and Chery eQ Small Ant sales were 3735 vehicles.
GAC Aion and Ideal Car sales are not much different, GAC Aeon ranked sixth with sales of 8526 vehicles, its Aion Aion S sold 3380 vehicles, AION Y sold 2986 vehicles, Aion V sold 2140 vehicles. Ideal Cars ranked seventh with sales of 8,414 units, up 265.8% year-on-year.
Nezha Automobile ranked eighth in sales after Ideal Automobile in terms of sales of 7117 vehicles. Among them, Nezha V sold 4073 vehicles, and Nezha U sold 3044 vehicles.
The sales volume of new energy vehicles of the three car companies such as Great Wall Motor, Xiaopeng Automobile and Weilai Automobile is not much different, with more than 6,000 units. Among them, Great Wall Motor sold 6347 new energy vehicles, Xiaopeng Automobile sold 6225 vehicles, and Weilai Automobile sold 6131 vehicles, ranking 11th.
Changan Automobile and SAIC Volkswagen both sold more than 5,000 new energy vehicles, of which Changan Automobile sold 5,560 new energy vehicles, ranking 12th; SAIC Volkswagen's new energy vehicle sales of 5449 vehicles, ranking 13th.
