The reason why Ideal Automobile has experienced a sharp month-on-month decline is related to the Spring Festival holiday and the epidemic, and it is believed that its delivery volume in March will return to its original performance.
At present, ideal car only ideal ONE model on sale, although the product is small, but the market performance is not weak. Official data shows that since the delivery of the ideal ONE, the cumulative delivery volume has reached 144,770 vehicles. It is reported that Ideal Car will launch a new model in 2022 - Ideal X01, and the new car positioning is higher than the Ideal ONE, which means that its price will not be low. However, with the ideal ONE reputation in front, it is expected that the ideal X01 will also have a good performance.
Nezha: 7117 vehicles were delivered in February, ranking first in the camp
Like the ideal car, Nezha Automobile did not achieve delivery of more than 10,000 vehicles in February, and actually only delivered 7117 vehicles, down about 35.4% month-on-month. However, compared with 2021, Nezha Automobile has achieved a ranking improvement. In 2021, Nezha Automobile delivered a total of 69,674 vehicles, ranking behind Weilai, Xiaopeng and Ideal. Today, Nezha Automobile ranks in the top three, and the cumulative delivery volume from January to February 2022 has reached 18,126 vehicles, and the annual delivery volume is likely to exceed 2021.
The reason why Nezha Automobile has made such great progress is related to the main cost performance of products and the gradual improvement of sales channels. Nezha Automobile's compact SUV, Nezha U Pro, has a starting price of only more than 100,000 yuan after subsidies, and the small SUV Nezha V is more than 60,000 to win. Nezha Automobile revealed that it plans to further expand its sales channels in 2022, specifically expanding to 250 cities. It is reported that Nezha Automobile also plans to enter the European market, which is expected to further promote its sales growth.
Xiaopeng: Base transformation, February deliveries fell sharply month-on-month
In February 2022, Xiaopeng Automobile delivered only 6225 new vehicles, down about 51.8% month-on-month. The reason for the decline given by Xiaopeng is that the Zhaoqing base has undergone a technological transformation, which has affected the delivery of new cars. The good news is that now that production has resumed at the Zhaoqing base, Xiaopeng Automobile's delivery volume is expected to start to improve in March. From January to February 2022, Xiaopeng Automobile has delivered a total of 19,147 new cars, an increase of 132% year-on-year, with obvious progress.
The most popular car model under Xiaopeng Motors at present, of which the Xiaopeng P7 delivered 3537 units in February and the Xiaopeng P5 delivered 2059 units. At present, the cumulative delivery volume of Xiaopeng Automobile has exceeded 150,000 vehicles, and it is one of the most successful new car-making forces. It is reported that Xiaopeng Automobile's medium and large SUV, Xiaopeng G9, will soon officially join the battlefield, and the delivery volume of Xiaopeng Automobile will go to a higher level.
NIO: A total of 182853 new cars have been delivered
As a new car-making force focusing on the high-end market, NIO delivered a total of 6,131 new cars in February 2022, down about 36.5% month-on-month. In addition to the impact of the Spring Festival holiday and the supply of parts, the decline in sales of NIO is also related to the higher price of NIO's models. Today, Weilai has delivered 182853 new cars, and it is expected that the subsequent monthly deliveries will be surpassed by new car-making forces such as Nezha.
The good news is that the NIO mid-size pure electric sedan ET7 will be delivered on March 28, while the mid-size CAR NIO ET5 is scheduled to be delivered at the end of September. In addition, NIO also plans to launch a new SUV model in 2022 , NIO ES7 , which will be released in mid-April and delivered within the year. The above new cars are bound to further promote the growth of NIO's delivery volume, and it is not impossible for NIO to return to the top three.
Zero-run vehicles: February deliveries plunged about 57.5% month-on-month
Like new car-making forces such as Weilai and Xiaopeng, the February delivery of zero-run cars also fell month-on-month, and the decline exceeded that of Xiaopeng Motors, about 57.5%. As for the reason for the decline, Zero Run Car said it was affected by the Spring Festival holiday.
Although zero-run car deliveries fell sharply in February, they increased by 447% year-on-year, an astonishing increase. In terms of cumulative sales, zero-running cars delivered 11,520 new vehicles in January-February 2022, compared with 43,121 vehicles delivered in the whole year of 2021. The car buyer predicts that the delivery volume of zero-run cars in 2022 will most likely exceed that in 2021.
As for WM Motors, it will deliver 44,157 new cars in 2021, similar to zero-run cars. However, WM Motors has not announced sales for two consecutive months, which may be related to poor sales performance. Of course, this is just speculation. It is reported that the WM M7 sedan is expected to be mass-produced and delivered in 2022, and its performance is worth looking forward to.
It can be seen that due to the impact of the Spring Festival holiday and other factors, new car-making forces such as Weilai, Ideal, and Xiaopeng have inevitably experienced a month-on-month decline in delivery, but I believe that it will soon recover. Interestingly, Nezha Car has not fallen out of the top three since entering 2022, ranking steadily. So, can Weilai pull Nezha down next? We'll see.
