On May 31, GAC Toyota's 2024 Highlander was launched, with an official guide price of 249,800 yuan to 325,800 yuan for 11 models. The new car provides an official APP right of 20,000 yuan, which greatly reduces the threshold for sale, and the price after the discount is only 229,800 yuan, of which the 380T guide price is the highest official drop of 33,000 yuan (including equity of 53,000 yuan).

The new car has been adjusted according to the configuration, including three major upgrades: space, intelligence and quietness. The car is equipped with a 12.3-inch full LCD instrument + 12.3-inch intelligent navigation system (the current model is 7 inches + 12.3 inches), upgraded 8155 car machine chip, car home intelligent interconnection, remote control, and upgraded NAPPA leather seats for the Chinese market.

The interior of the 2024 Highlander is equipped with brushed metal trim, perforated NAPPA leather seats, executive seat adjustment buttons, and intelligent touch warm reading lights. The 12.3-inch full LCD instrument supports 3 modes, and the visual effect is cooler. The new car also supports mobile phone remote control, and adds the functions of bright headlights + horn and door/tail light switching.

The 2024 Highlander has upgraded a total of 17 soundproofing materials in five major parts, including the interior of the instrument panel, the main and passenger floors, the second-row floor, the rear cabin floor and the center tunnel, increasing the density by 80% and the thickness by 83%. The new car continues to be equipped with two powertrains: 2.0T gasoline and 2.5L intelligent electric hybrid dual engine, the former with a maximum power of 182kW and a maximum torque of 380Nm, mated to an 8AT gearbox.
